Same as title. Discuss what song(s) you feel best exemplify the spirit of what Adventure Mode is all about.

For me, I'd have to say Walk the Earth by Silent Force. The musical style fits adventure, and the lyrics really resonate with the idea of wandering the world, searching for purpose, reflecting on one's past, perhaps allusions to some ill deeds in the past (necromancy anyone?)

Well I listen to a lot of ambient when I play games, it doesnt take up much space which is fine for me. Some songs fit themes though, like evil biomes have great ambient tracks in northaunt and kammerheit's songs. Then theres glacier/frozen themes in many of biospheres songs.

If you really want to listen to symphonic power metal then symphony of enchanted lands album by rhapsody is a prime choice, being one of the best such albums ever written. Like many powermetal albums you cannot enjoy it if you cant get past the frequent mentioning of kings, dragons and stuff like that. Although if you are playing dwarf fortress that shouldnt really be an issue.

I often listen to Pull Me Under by Dream Theater. I feel like it really summarizes what I enjoy about Dwarf Fortress. I'm not quite sure how to explain it, but whenever I'm playing and I put it on, it just seems right. I'll have to take more time to really put it into words.

To be honest, I usually play adventurer mode just to murder out entire villages and see how far I can get, so I use a fast and heavy drum and bass track.

When I truly enjoy adventurer mode, questing/exploring and training, I think Fillmore from the Actraiser games seems fit.

I don't listen to specific music while playing adventure mode, but every time I meet a peregrine falcon in game, the song "Fred the Peregrine Falcon" by cape coast radio pops up into my head.

It's too obscure for youtube, I only can give you this link to a 30 seconds fragment of it, but it should give you an idea.
