Um, given how this seems to be working, I think all objects which are livers of da_nang would be turned into potatolike things.

You attempt to make your hand into a nanomachine controller. Your hand is now a small piece of circuitry, and promptly detaches from the bleeding stump.

You try to turn yourself into a robot. Unfortunately, failing to specify the precise meaning leads to your garments being replaced with those of a slave, and heavy iron chains being placed around your feet.

Furtuka, still no abstract concepts.

There's no water around, but you try anyway. Suddenly, you notice a peculiar taste in your mouth.

You attempt to turn water into ice, and end up failing to specify an area, resulting in your other hand freezing solid.

You have no idea what This Rock is. You're just surrounded by billions of small metal things you've been assured are nanomachines.

You attempt to turn people into furries. As there are no people around, you have no idea if it worked.

You have no clue what da_nang is.

You turn the nanomachines into Khajiit.. and you now have numerous tiny cat people crushing you, instead of nanomachines.
