DnD Races

I imagine this has already been asked, but a quick search didn't turn up.

Is there a mod out there with more DnD type races?  I would like a little more variety in my sieges and trading partners (and maybe in the monsters wandering the caverns) but an otherwise generally vanilla experience.

Has somebody put together raws for things like gnomes, different types of elves, different types of dwarves, halflings, and so on?

make your own, it's not that hard, etc.

I'm sure there are, but it wouldn't be too hard. Most of them could just be a copy+paste job from humans with one or two tags changed.

I'm working in a mod that will include d&d civilizations and creatures. The civilizations I will include are these: humans, wood elf, half-elf, avariel, lythari, drow, dwarf, halfling, rock gnome, forest gnome, goblin, hobgoblin, bugbear, gnoll, orc, half-orc, orog, kenku, catfolk, lizardfolk, bullywug, grippli, and more. I accept requests.

The last mod based on DnD was my Legends of Faerun, and it was a loooong time ago.

:) I'm on it. I have finished half the civilizations, plus 3 humans civs germanic, japanese(samurais) and vikings, each with custom weapons and armor. Finish the other civs won't take long, but I wan't to add a lot of new creatures, and other things, mainly for make adventure mode trips more "enjoyable". Grafics for new creatures will take longer.

This mod will be mostly intended for adventure mode. Currently I don't have problems with world gen. Perhaps you will need to increase total civ number and total civ population in advanced world gen. Fortress mode could be different, because you will probably have a lot of enemies. It will  need testing and tweaking.
Adventure mode will be more diverse (like other rpg games), you will be able to play mostly all the civs, and craft your own weapons and armor, like in my basic mod.

I would really love that.
I often get a little disappointed that (for example) all the elves are either at war or in love with me.  No matter how many elf nations there are, they are all of one mind.

I also miss the wild diversity of DnD.  If some are friendly and can be trading partners, that would be fantastic.

Now if only some could come trade through the caves, too...
