New idea brought up in the OOC thread:

We should make it so that our Stems and Saps can plant their seeds anywhere, not just in farm plots. Ideally also have the current crop taught basic farming. That way, we can have an army sow their own seeds, then attack; the next generation sprouts, sows, and strikes; the next sprouts, sows, and strikes; sprout, sow, strike; sprout, sow, strike; week after week, month after month, backed up by other forces, until the entire area is torched or ours.

Sound like a good idea?
I support this position.

I'm fairly sure they can do so already?
After all, it's only seeds, and seeds will grow when planted. Most of the time.

Don't we have control of the trees? There is no point of wasting mana on that.

Hey, we can totally flirt with a goddess. We're talking a multiple divinity realm here. The simple fact that we have genders is more than enough to allow us to flirt.

I'm all for the flirting of Donut with Selena.

Nah, from what I can tell they have to be tended to while they grow, and they're not necessarily the most hardy of things when they're growing, so ideally we'd also make them capable of growing in much more extreme climates, which'll allow us to sow chaos wherever our armies march.
And our castle can constantly spew out the spores.

...That's actually a good question to ask Corruptor.

Hey, can Saps and Stems grow in the wild or do they need to be tended by farmers?

As it stands, they need to be tended and have a gestation period of 3-4 days

Thanks for clearing that up GM
EDIT: Jesus, 3-4 days?  That is multiplying that puts rabbits to shame.
How many can one stem seed at a time, and how long after maturation will it take them to start producing seeds?

No, we know her. We just met her, didn't we? We don't want to seem disinterested. Be a little over-friendly, let her know that we -are- interested. Flirting doesn't always mean dropping lines. It can also be complimenting her and her good work, and letting her know we'd like to chat again if possible.

Whatever, just don't start hitting on her or anything...I don't feel like arguing anymore.

75, I think, and I'm pretty sure that they come out of the ground with the seeds. That's what I remember, at least.

Yep. Flirt with her, but don't take it too far. The other guys have a point; she doesn't know us and we don't know her. Be subtle. Intricate. Weave a web.
