We seemed a bit darker in that update.
...
I don't see this darkness. we haven't tortured or even threated with torture. which is something I wouldn't put beyond us in times of great crisis.
We seemed to be curious about the justicar, and we truly pity the shell of potential. A trapped man.
....
We've helped Uristiel. Keep a contact up with him, and plan a assault within the next week or so. Make sure it doesn't conflict with the Feast we have planned with Krait, including travel time to both areas.
...
Indeed putting off the feast AGAIN. (eventhough it was mutual last time) is very poor form.
before we send in a relief force(if we even can) we should talk about it with Uristiel. also inform him that we have laksus running some interference in the siegeing ranks... mention that we really don't want to lose a neighbour and valuable trading partner.
...
So Ravenholt is completely gone. Damn. And we have new monsters roaming, that we created. Double damn. So much for our reputation as a fairly benevolent if brutally effective combatant. At least Maher is slightly weakened by losing a minor town. I'm surprised he took it so gracefully. He's a large amount of power at his disposal, for sure.
...
well first off... lets try and put a handle on Laksus's ability to create new werewolves, if hes going to use it. it will be because we wished it. we need to way to turn his ability on and off, if that is impossible we should remove the abilty all together.
it is the least we can do as punishment. Sending him to clean up the werewolve mess... well... he might just enjoy that a little toomuch.
hmm... if he can controll his new kin then its not ALL bad... we just have to try and also limit those new wolves multiplication abilities.
also, I'm torn between telling the truth or not.
we're a chaos god, we take chances and with those chances come mistakes. its part of us, But on the other hand... mortals look up to us, perhaps even as a sign of perfection, if perfection can make mistakes that could severly hurt the faith the morals place in us.
my gut says we should come clean and apologise to the two survivors, they are not a threat to us. and I think building a web of lies will only entangle ourselves sooner or later.
...
I like the Tree idea,...
I like it aswell, it would be a more modest version of the one we have in our afterlife... maybe even somehow linked with the one in our afterlife. a place to where mortals can try and commune with the ones they have lost?

Make a set of shackles for Laskus. The next time an orc begs him for mercy, have him taken prisoner and escorted back to the village by Fungus Spawn. I have some tests I'd like to run and some things I'd like to learn. An Orc should be able to tell us much about Grummugga, probably more than she wishes known to us, he'll be grateful we spared his life, possibly converting, and we should be able to see a glimpse of culture by way of how he handles himself. Know thy enemy like you know thyself.
I am opposed to willfully taking prisoners. I would even go as far as to try and use chaos to sever the tie between the captured justicars and his boons. and to set him free.
No prison we could ever build would be as bad as his god has already put him in. We should truly pity the man...
so yeah... remove his fangs. and set him free?
