I propose that our sphere of influence be donuts.
You mean torus of influence?
LordBucket obviously means our donut of influence should be donuts.
A torus is the actual name for the donut shape.

So - name Donut, spheres Donut, Timbits and Cinnamon Buns; are we agreed?

I'm going to suggest we take the spheres of Creation, Life, and Fire.
Creation and Life because they let us make things, Fire for obvious reasons (and to reduce tie issues).

I don't much care about names, I'll take any sensible one.

Update:

Your first attribute is Life

Gods of Life govern the energy of living things, and are usually quite benevolent to mortals - making crops bountiful, healing ills, making the barren fertile. However, as with all things, Life has the potential to inflict great harm as well - every great plague to ravage mortals was a prized creation of a God of Life.

Your second attribute is Fire

Gods of Fire govern heat and flame, and have been known to do everything from kindling a fire for a freezing mortal to warm themselves by, to decimating the armies of rival worshippers with firebolts the size of an elder dragon. Clever Gods of Fire have been known to exploit their dominion over heat to do many things, as Igniel the Wrathful demonstrated on one fateful occasion when he froze a path for his armies to cross the oceans with, by moving the heat out of the water.

Your third element still seems in flux, you feel an equal pulling between Chaos, Creation, and War.
(Vote for one of the three to break the tie ;P)

As you gaze down at the world below, you feel a presence approaching. You turn your awareness to regard the newcomer, which registers to you as a cloud of grey motes floating in the Void, with intelligent but muted brown eyes staring at you.
So, a new God has come,
the stranger said, its voice a dry whisper.
Who are you?, you ask, somehow certain that this is a God - with a sphere of Earth, Water, and Air.
The brown eyes seem to frown, with an air of sadness.
I can no longer remember,
the unknown God croaked. Mortals no longer know my name, and oblivion is my fate now. What is your name, newcomer?
You draw yourself up and declare ominiously, I...am Donut.

Chaos since life and fire are chaotic.

Your third attribute solidifies into Chaos.

Gods of Chaos govern the capricious flow of change that drives the universe forward. While change is not always for the better, without Chaos there would be no evolution or innovation, only the creeping stagnation of Order. Gods of Chaos are as varied as their element, some madgods of randomness and chance, others harbingers of change, and still others are cunning plotters weaving schemes so complicated that the end goal may elude even them.

Donut... the faded God before you murmurs thoughtfully. Well, your name won't be striking fear into mortals without a lot of work. He regards you intently. I've lingered too long, slowly fading away, he murmured. It's time to end things, I think. Take what is left of me, and flourish, young one. Remember, mortals are fleeting, weak things but it is their worship that gives you power, and their knowing of you that is your anchor to this world.
With a sigh akin to relief, the unknown God abruptly dissipates into an intangible cloud of power that flows into you, and the brown eyes flicker and fade into nothingness. The power isn't much, but it's a start.

Your mana is now 100.

You turn your attention downwards to the world below, and a few things immediately catch your interest.

First is a lone mortal atop a cliff, apparently contemplating taking his own life. The second is a small village, slowly starving. Third is a young woman fleeing through a dense forest from a trio of orcs.  What do you do?

Burn the orcs and make the cliff bust into bloom. Village can wait.

Burn the orcs and make the cliff bust into bloom. Village can wait.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

You concentrate on your attribute of Fire, a boiling coil of energy begging to be unleashed, and let your instincts guide you as you unleash a small salvo of firebolts at the orcs.

The first orc is struck by a bolt to the leg, and falls to the ground clutching the wound with a howl of surprise and pain (1d20: 12 + FireSkill(0) = 12)

The second orc is struck higher, on the small of its back, and collapses to the ground where it twitches once then lies still. (1d20: 13 + FireSkill(0) = 13)

The third orc skids to a stop with eyes wide, firebolts slamming into the ground around him and miraculously missing him. "Gromugga, protect me!" he screamed as the orc fled into the forest, abandoning pursuit of the young woman. (1d20: 6 + FireSkill(0) = 6)

"But...how?" you hear her say in astonishment, backing away from the orc with the wounded leg who is still on the ground howling.

The firebolts cost you 40 mana, leaving you with 60.

---

Next you turn your attention to the man contemplating suicide, who now seems on the verge of doing so. He takes a deep breath, and moves one leg out into open air...

You focus inwardly on your attribute of Life, and will energy into the cliffside.

The cliff explodes into vibrant color as flowers bloom and vines stretch up and down the cliff face, blanketing the grey rock with a flood of green. Most notable is an apple tree that grows in the span of a few seconds, and an apple falls into the startled man's hands. (1d20 : 18 + LifeSkill(0) = 18, nice!)

The man, with an expression of shock, slowly withdrew his leg and stared around him. "The gods...they do care..." he whispered.

The life magic you wrought cost 40 mana, leaving you with 20.

With a flash of instinctual insight, you realize that you may speak with mortals that are not your worshippers, but it will cost 1 mana to do so. Speaking to followers of rival Gods costs 10 mana. Do you say anything to the mortals you helped today?
