Snow white not grey white hair that come with age.
It eventually goes white!
...But yeah, magical place seems simpler.

I'm going with the lord is in charge of what is essentially a new america, and people from all over the world immigrated there cause the old world was growing barren and full of corruption, but it's still a feudal system.  Gonna start the OC thread.

Besides that weird bit, your good gonna add you into his wife slot, but first I'd like to talk about the first turn.

The first turn will be mostly roleplaying, as the families will make there case to the baron, with the hopes of obtaining land, mining rights (not that any of you are in that profession), lumber and hunting rights and such.  When all of that is set up, then I will begin the first season, followed by another short round of roleplaying (until satisfied) then the next season, until we get the hang of it, then we might do a year at a time.

edit- wait are you with Castilian or Piast?  I assume Castilian since you have complimentary skills.

I'd assume it's up to you.

Maybe you could call a meeting of the families to make our cases then we can come to you?

I wrote a letter you you requesting some land and hunting rights.

I'd assume you could bring us in for a meeting, but you would decide on the final divisions of land.

9 or 10 acres is quite a lot GWG! I was thinking more 4 or 5 to start.

100 acres divide by 5 = 20

He asking for half of what I thought.

You did realize that each square is an acre, right?

1 acre has enough room for 4 fields of wheat, which will give you 4 unit of wheat in fall, which with a mill will become 16 units of flour, which in the hands of a skilled baker, is 64? loafs of bread, granted a level one baker can only make 4 loafs a season (loafs being batchs of loafs not just a single loaf, obviously).  Just to put land into perspective.

4 acres is a good starting amount for a farmer (who would be taxed food so that the baron can feed his men, so they don't really own all of their acres). 1 or 2 for anyone else.

edit- also the land on the other side of the river is unaccessible until a bridge is built.  So that also limits the lands you can work on.
