Derailment
« on: January 02, 2013, 01:44:08 am »

Ever since I started readying any Bay 12 Threads there have been a common theme among all of them.

They all derail after the 3 page on average. So I want to make a simple topic for the new guys and for !!SCIENCE!!

The !!SCIENCE!! part is how long will a derail thread will derail. The beginner post is to demonstrate with photos of levels of derail.

Starting typical derail.

I agree with that derailing statement. Shall we continue this discussion until the 3 day scheduled time for derailment is derailed by not derailing, and staying on topic until 4 pages?

True: by not derailing, are we not actually derailing the thread?  That would mean your hypothesis is completely incorrect!  Data, we must measure the data!

Eh, I've never minded derailment, generally they derail because there wasn't that much to be said about the original topic and people basically start to talk about other stuff that got brought up along the way instead. I don't really mind ambling, aimless discussion so much.

Besides, the last progress is not how Bay12's derails work. Most often they just end up on a completely new track. Even if said new track goes suddenly straight up or something.

Bay12 has four dimensional tracks.

The fifth dimensional ones pop up on occasion, too, but only after 3000 pages.

That's why it has different dimensional axis. We're not all on the same page here!

So you ending the puns Loud Whispers? Isn't that a contradiction by its nature?

And on another note, I was wondering what is the largest quote pyramid that you have ever seen?
