Kicked up Far Cry 3 for the first time, and I'm really enjoying it. The combat is satisfying and driving even more so. Also, handgliders are incredibly fun, and equally hard to land properly. :D

Five years after the British invasion of japan with US naval support, in 1945-46, the second world war finally ends, with an American amphibious invasion of Germany starting in Denmark and marching south, conquering east Germany first and then serving as the hammer to the Anvil of the still held French Maginot Line, which forever held the line. Only problem are those goddamn soviets who finally declared war against Germany in the last months of the war and managed to grab a bunch of provinces making some strange borders near Black Sea.

Managed to get a windfall of cash somehow and am now busy building an elevator shaft
so I can excavate a cave system
so I can build a power plant
so I can power a satellite uplink
so I can put up some satellites
so I can shoot down alien spacecrafts
so I can reduce global panic.

Although by the time I get to the satellite part the world will probably have been completely taken over by aliens...

Got the hull, flight deck, cargo hold, and compartments done on my 350-meter long space cruiser, just finished wiring up standard and emergency lighting systems and a general alarm, currently moving on to weapons systems, nav lights, and compartment furnishings.
