Hm...
-code-
In theory, something like this might work. It attaches to an existing engine and improves its power at the cost of using slightly more fuel. I haven't tested it myself though.

And it's considered an alternator, so you can attach as many different types of additions.
That's an idea. I was thinking of trying some things with vehicles while I get used to .json modding.

Still, there are issues. Alternators can be attached to any non-electric engine. Including things like foot cranks and wheel rims.

Isn't Mein Kampf still under copyright and the owners won't give it up?

Either way, it was available in my school library, to take out even. I could see a cannibal cookbook being there too, for... educational purposes.

I once went to a pizza joint, found cannibal pizzas, and then went to it's bathroom where there was an absurd amount of cocaine on the ground.
What the fuck is wrong with Cata world?

That's a whole different level we're talking about here. Mein Kampf is the autobiography of a mad dictator, it is something of historical significance. The book I found teach children how to cook Humans.

The world got so awesome that greater powers decided it couldn't be allowed to continue, hence the clusterfuck of everything going wrong.

Whoo!  After 15 or so false starts (between a summer start as a shower victim in a surrounded setup with 1.3x spawns and the game being  douche by spawning entirely too manyranged zombies) I got a start that had craters in a suburban neighborhood that crushed all but 2 houses.  I escaped the shelter in the night, ran from an NPC that tried to rob me, and found a grappling hook I've been using to kill zoms with.

Made 1 successful raid thus far, and although there is no gun store, garage, or hardware store on my map I've got hope for this guy!  If the crabs would stop talking to me from outside, I'd be peachy . . .

How on Earth do you guys do it?  I hate most of the special zombies, but miss the giant critters/triddids/etc and the special structures if I only use classic zoms.
  I like classic zoms better though . . .

How on Earth do you guys do it?

Just remember these simple rules of the art of Zombie Fu:

1: Unless it has a gun or is electric, violence with fist or spear is the correct solution. Otherwise, use a gun or non-metal weapon[Fists don't work, even with insulated gloves], respectively.

2: Hitting things is useless without the ability to not be hit. Choose a weapon or martial art with the "Parry" ability. The Dodge skill and/or decent armour also help.

3: You must move fluidly and with great vigour. Avoid over-encumbrance and weapons which often get stuck in your enemy. Spears, blunt weapons and fists work best, especially in the beginning. Many enemies[Skeletons, feral hunters, dogs of all kinds] are your equal or more in sheer attack speed. Being at a disadvantage against them in this regard WILL be fatal.

4: Always be prepared. Carry[At the EXTREMELY BARE minimum] saline solution to wash boomer gunk off your eyes, medical supplies, a way to repair your clothing/armour, a filter or gas mask and at least one weapon to deal with foes rule 1 says you should not hit. Stacking items with high storage[A backpack, a trenchcoat, cargo pants] is a good way to help with this, as long as you don't violate rule 3 with it.

5: Absconding is the best defense. If rule 1 dictates you should not hit something and you lack the equipment to kill it safely, RUN. If the foe you face is surrounded by corpses and is a Lovecraft reference, RUN. If it looks like a dog, but isn't, RUN. You're usually faster then most of your foes and they're not terribly persistent.

There's more advice I'd give you, but these are the most pertinent rules of thumb for dealing with special enemies.

There's mods that get rid of only special zeds, yeah? And you can edit them so they only disable the enemies you don't like.
