Oh hey, there's a thread for this! Anyway:

Why did I do this.

Spoiler: json (click to show/hide)

Note: this almost certainly doesn't actually work

Now we need a communist revolutionary mutation tree. We even have a communist faction in the game so it would actually make sense to have it! jk

No, but now I know what that is. Also, now I kinda wish it was possible to mod mutations through json alone.
We're getting closer! :P You can already handle the 4 main stat effects through the JSON files (STR, INT, PER, and DEX) and I'm currently working on a bit of a mutation rewrite that should hopefully make it fairly easy to move a few other effects out as well. (Though, like bionics, a lot of stuff is still gonna remain hardcoded, simply because it can't really be pulled out.)

It would be brutally difficult and probably won't work. In other words, it's absolutely dwarven!

Is it just me, or did competitive real-life Minesweeper see some kind of popularity spike before the Cataclysm?

Seriously, though, there are landmines everywhere. Landmines in farms. Landmines in yards. Landmines in the road. Landmines in the city. Landmines in the country. Hell, there's probably landmines in the river. I can't describe to you how many times I've seen a bear explode.

Its called mine-laying artillery.

Although, the real-life minesweeper does sound better.

Is there any reliable and/or renewable source of salt or salt water? I'm trying to do my own tanning and I can't for the life of my find any of the stuff.

That's handy, I'm right next to a river and a swamp. Thanks.

So... there anyone that knows lore stuff here? The game's focused on New England (which is also the worst-affected area on the planet, if I understand correctly?), but I wonder how the oceans are doing? Because, after "What about the astronauts?" my first question in apocalypse settings is "What about the nuclear submarine sailors under the North Pole?"

The submariners are probably the folks most likely to survive an apocalypse, really, unless it's a nuclear or other war-based apocalypse, in which case they spend the rest of their lives hunting each other down.

Astronauts would survive the apocalypse too, except they'd run out of supplies at some point and be stranded to starve, unless they wanted to attempt a landing in the escape craft with no one on the ground capable of assisting.

Request to make zombie whales a thing. Not specifically an actual creature, but mentioned. As well as zombie/skeletal giant sponges. That scare off entire fleets and are immortal.
