Mayhaps one day we could hack turrets and robots, that would be nice.

You can already do that (unless you mean more than just setting them allied). You need to build a control laptop.

Oh, had no idea about that. I haven't really been building more than armor and the occasional weapon.

Wheres the mobile workshop and the mini-reactor?
Since he's the only one riding it, I assume the troop seats have been repurposed.

Mobile workshop (read: mad scientist laboratory + dwarf-style forge) is in back with my bed. Still working on that mini-reactor.

The best part is, the guy who drives it was this reedy little bookworm scientist. Now he's a fighting machine with 13 melee, a zweihander, and a powered quarterstaff who dresses like he's on the front lines of a nuclear war and mows down zombie hulks for shits and giggles.

Nah, the FOODCO kitchen buddy won't fit at the moment, I'll have to cut out the back boards and the shutter door, then rebuild the thing a tile longer. RV kitchen should fit once I get around to clearing out the trunk of food, tossing the rotten stuff, and placing the books and stuff in different piles.

I've done this kind of thing before, actually, I just lost that guy when I made the mistake of trying to disarm a shotgun trap.

Oh, remember that you can shove a minifridge into the same tile as some things, you might want to have one.

Oooh. Minifridge. Going to have to steal one next time I find an RV.

Also, did you guys know that, according to Cata, you can fit a V12 engine, a full-size gas tank, a seat, a transmission, an alternator, and a battery all into a shopping cart and still have room for a shovel and a few pounds of MREs?

Apparently so, because I built one of those. It could go 100 miles an hour without breaking a sweat.

Possibly not a V12, but some shopping carts are rather large. Not those dinky two-level ones tho.

However, how a drivetrain connecting to casters would work...

Well, any shopping cart that could fit and support a >3cyl engine, will be using something larger than standard shopping cart wheels.
There are go-karts that use transmissions (in a sense), so it shouldn't be too hard to rig something.
Probably should be requiring an extra chunk of metal for each previously installed frame component, but once you've mounted a full size jet engine, well...

Really, game? 50 mininukes in one lab room? And a quantum solar panel and recipe for atomic battery mod? Who was the genius that thought that was a good idea?

Have you never had a really great but impractical idea? Now imagine if you actually had the capacity to do it. That is what life was like for those scientists.

"If we set off all 50 mininukes at once I bet we could generate so much power, especially if the solar panel was right on top of them. Yeah!"
