If it's not infinite, then I'm not bothering with a corpse at home, because it'll be one use and done, and then there's no reason to keep it except the hilarity of building a zombie zoo.

BULLWHIPS!  I found the best use of them to be whipping things, stun them, then strike them WITH the bullwhip.  It doesn't do too much damage, but if you're using a bullwhip then you're playing the combat game as long and safe.

Do water extraction units still draw infinite water, or do corpses dry out now?  If infinite, what sort of corpse do I want to crucify in my base as my main source of water?

Hm. Do they deteriorate beyond 'scratched'? It didn't take much time for mine to get to that point while beating things with it. 'sides, the stun is really long, easily enough to whip out something else.

You can repair them with a sewing kit and leather patches, I'm pretty sure.  Leather is super-abundant from pants.

Also, what exactly would I need to move my character to a new world?  The character's .sav file seems to contain all health, bionics, skills, inventory, etc... so do I just move it?  Are there other files that are needed for the character to be moved?  The auto pickup and .log also seem vaguely important...

So I have cloaking, probability travel, a force-field, teleportation, bionic claws, a mk.II power armor interface, sonic resonators, diamond cornea, alloy plating, and almost had time dilation but failed that at 13% failure.

But I cannot install an internal toolset to save my life. Three separate failures. Twice in the field at the lab with a 20%ish failure rate, and once at home with meth and Adderall and cigarettes and a 3% failure rate.

Game is freaking trolling me.

The game always seems to start in winter, regardless of what i set it to. Has this bug already been mentioned?

Just to check, are you producing a new world after you change the start season? If you just continue with a previous world the time is where you left it.

So it seems I accidentally put my canteen in my wheelbarrow and didn't notice... and then I got really thirsty... so right before going to sleep I go to take a swig from my canteen and... end up snorting a line of low-grade meth.

DF doesn't mold players into its image - DF merely selects those who were always ready for DF.

Minecraft UI is very simple. There's only so many ways you can implement "simple" without copying something. We also gonna complain that it uses WASD?

Springs in that region can have snow aslate as april.
So its not totally unrealistic.
And no, Global warming hasent changed that too much. The weather just flipflops more and has higher highs and lower lows.

Find myself wishing that you couldn't set off your own traps. It'd make them a lot more useful for interior base defense. Getting kinda tedious setting up and taking down layers of bear traps in the hallway leading to my bedroom every time I want to sleep without getting gunned down in my bed. Not to mention if they had a simple flamethrower.

Make zig zag safe paths. Like so. North to south. X is trap, O is safe
