She's carrying a simple flamethrower, and I'd like to at least remove that.

As far as I can tell from reading the code:

1. Underbrush doesn't regrow.

2. Foot cranks can power six truck alternators.  Although, I doubt you can install six.  Still sounds like something to try out.

Alternators can only be installed on a gas/diesel powered engine.

1. What about small trees or shrubs? Do they regrow? They can be smashed into underbrush.

2. True, but can you also install a foot crank with it?

You can trade with her, learn skills from her (cost things tho), and tell her what to do in combat (use suppressed weapons or normals, grenades or no, when to attack things), and tell her when to sit at some place.

Well, zero is definitely not six.

I have the vision distortion malfunctioning CBM.  It doesn't seem to do anything, except that it occasionally gives me a message that my vision is pixelated, so I guess I was lucky.

Is there an easy/safe way to remove it?  Otherwise I'll just keep it in, rather than taking chances.

Are you using ASCII? That CBM is supposed to cause the same "blinking" visual effect that schizophrenia does, but I would not be surprised if it didn't work with alternate tile-sets. Ofc, it still doesn't really have an effect on game play if it did work.

Also, if you're gunna try and remove it, be fully healed!

Big white mushroomy things that like to cover things in spores. Have an annoying tendency of making the arms of the unprepared explode.

You generate more food by eating food, your food is also crazy filling. So infinite food.

On a side note, the Mycus does not seem to like me. I once tried going Mycus, but I never got more than carrier, despite eating several dozen seeds and 3 units of gelatin. The attempt ended when I tried walking up to a tower peacefully due to the suggestion of a forum post. It killed me.

If the tower wants peace, it'll let you know.  The other two are each a 1:11 chance per consumable, so it can take some doing.

Have photos on it, either for happiness or to know things about the monsters you meet (Although you need to take photos of those first), download data off SD cards, which include recipes and (I think) book guff. Some are encrypted, so best be a hacker to get at those cards that are fancy.
