On one of my town item gathering then bringing them back to shelter i met a wandering NPC .
He was rather hostile as i ordered me to drop a specific ammo i was carrying (i didn't had any gun) , as my best weapon at the time was a pocket knife i did so, then i moved away while the NPC went to take the item on the ground.

I then got an error message :

Following that error message the NPC turned hostile immediately and proceeded to kill my character.

in other news, i noticed that my saved game folder has now more than 1400 files, it sure inflated a lot since yesterday in which i had "only" a hundred, and that without seeing much of that world out of a town and a forest .
In the version I had been playing, when an NPC robs you, the game gives you a message to stand still(the NPC comes over and helps himself to your inventory), and that any movement might yield a hostile response.

... Yes, the hugs are for everyone.  No stabbing, though.  Just hugs.

In my last game, I managed to reduce all my stats to 0 by getting extremely wasted... Yet I still managed to take down 26 zombies with a 22. rifle before getting murdered by a tough zombie.

22. rifle eh? I congratulate you on killing 26 zombies with a glorified BB gun.

Probably had 20000 bullets, though.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

300, actually. 200 were regular, rest were FMJ. Still took an average of 5 shots per zombie.

If Fallout taught me anything, it's that even a BB gun can be a lethal weapon with enough ammo. (Of course I'm talking about 1&2.)

Hahaha.

New Vegas had this beast.

Critical hit builds on New Vegas cried tears of joy that day.

Reminds me of the dream I had in which I fought a flying old man who was the leader of a gang. c:

On subject I continue the search for a welder/vehicle that isn't just gonna be scrap at some point. not going well. I had a motorcycle but its engine died while I was going 40 miles per hour. pretty sure it was in bad condition. :o

Had a world generated, called "chloride".

I have a good feeling about this.

The Brin release is named in honor of significant improvements to PC/NPC relations.  This release, containing
over 9,000 commits (I counted)
brings an unheard-of amount of new features and content, most of which wants you dead.
Start your adventure in a wide variety of different locations, with a selection of different starting scenarios, now with unique character traits.
Explore new locations, some of which are ridiculously big (did somebody say 'mall'?), and some of which have inhabitants that don't want to eat you for a change.  Vehicles have gotten some love, and now form a basis for an electrical network should you desire to build one.  If you've ever wanted to strap a C4 pack onto an RC car and drive it under a Zombie Hulk, you got your chance.
A few more highlights:
You want speed? We brought the speed.  You want more buildings? We have more buildings.
More configurable difficulty? got it.  Better menus? Way better menus.
Mutation chains to explore? Tons of em.  More guns? yep.
More things to bolt on your deathmobile? All over the place.

See http://smf.cataclysmdda.com/index.php?topic=8377.0 for the gory details.

There were a lot of stability improvements, NPCs randomly causing crashes is pretty rare now.
I recommend turning on static NPCs at this point, because...
