And thats why you turn on autosave and backup your world folder whenever you get done doing something you don't want to redo.

Yeah, yeah. It was all done in one in-game day and crashed before I dropped the last two stacks to save and exit.

Something about a spitter zombie though, it crashed through the window and I got slimed right before. Never seen that one, doubt I could repeat it. *shrug* Still the first outright crash I've had in a long while, so I'm not too broken up over it.

Just curious, is the rotting time decrease a linear function of temperature?
Pretty sure it's something like that, yeah, which is why we've been having some problems with really cold temperatures making foods "unrot".

Ah. I'm asking for a different reason, though - high temperatures should decrease spoilage rates as well, if perhaps less so than the equivalent deviation from maximum spoilage rate.

Actually, I wonder if you could turn it into a feature - at very low temperature, food items, instead of getting the (rotten) tag, get a (frozen) tag that acts similarly to freshness - it decreases as a function of temperature and only kicks in at above-zero Celsius temperatures, and frozen items cannot get spoilage.

Oh good. Moved all my shit back into the new house, died to a Mi go the next day. Fuck you too, game.

And I make a new world, that one sucked anyways.

I can stop any time I want. Seriously.

So I'm trying out the melee weapons training perk with pentjak silat. So far it's pretty badass. I managed to take down a moose with a pointy stick, and the brutal strike crits are brutal as advertised. I can only imagine what it will be like with a nastier spear or ironshod quarterstaff...

That brings up something I've been wondering.

Does anyone have the "stats" on the melee weapon styles? Like how the other styles have their features explained on the wiki.

I don't even know what weapons they all affect. I know pentjak silat is knives, but apparently its spears too? And does fencing work with katana's? Zweihanders?

...how the hell do you fence with a zweihander?

Or a Katana for that matter, Obata-sensei didn't cover pansy extensions and riposites in any of my lessons.

Frozen food that thaws should become [soggy] for a while which reduces morale. :P

Why? You're not freezing it with SNOW. The ice is from the moisture already within the food.

Works only for broadswords and rapiers. Iirc, gives you some dodge bonus for moving around("footwork"), and deals some pretty damn deadly counterattacks("you deliver a perfect stop thrust" message, or something along those lines). There's probably some more mundane improvements to damage, but it's been a while and I can't recall it all that well.

Weeeell, if you're reheating in a microwave, yea, frozen foods generally don't come out so great.
Better to use an oven or pan, or, if time is an issue, just defrost in the microwave, and then finish in a pan.
My friggin awesome frozen garlic bread that I pop in an oven for several minutes is friggin awesome. :p
