   So I have some suggestions. First the everything except a 'Y' is a no should not work on cases where a no is bad for you. Second if your waiting and the condition is deadly it should warn you, IE if your standing next to lava and was only intending to get warm and you wait a bit too long it should give you a warning like it does with damage when you temp is too hot.
Also a question, how do you fix frostbite besides melting your face off.

I complained about the fact that you can suffer heat stroke and die with no warning at all - I was told "What, do you want the game to hold your hand to make sure you don't do anything stupid?" but then they did fix a lot of the "reading while being mauled by a bear" issues...

As for frostbite, just wait.  Stay warm, comfortably, and it'll pass over time.

   I don't want them to hold my hand. I want my character to not be more stupid then protozoa and be able to react to himself just getting so hot he literally dies from it.

Wow, I made a totally default character, survivor background, no spent points on anything and I've made it to DAY 6 already. And gotten pretty much everything I need except for a goddamn screwdriver.

It's frankly a grand testament to this forum and the power of crowd-development that this game is easy one of the best roguelikes ever. Can't wait for proper NPCs and NPC factions.

As far as I understand from code, one can easily go full speed on muscle-powered vehicle w/o the fear of "engine" damage?

Also, blade traps are awesome; undodgeable, unbreakable, infinite use traps? And they block a 3x3 area.

All you need to make them is a blade, a piece of string, and an electric engine.

I find screwdrivers everywhere I go, everything seems to be carrying a screwdriver. Except, of course, when i need a screwdriver, then I won't find shit.

My super success defaultman owes much of his super success to finding a pile of crossbow/shotgun/beartraps about 20 feet from the shelter.
All he did was lead some zommies into the crossbow traps and boom, now I have a crossbow and much bolts. Perfect zommie huntin weapon.
Incidently, this is why I want a screwdriver, so I can take apart the four extra crossbows I now have :P

Also, hilariously, there is another shelter right next to his starting shelter.
