I discovered a little town with a radio station.

Hilarity ensues as I lead obese zombies into fires to exterminate them and fortify the town. If I can do that, I can retire the character by never playing him again and act as though he lived the rest of his days in peace farming the fortified hamlet.

...Until he was over-run by zombears :P

Hate to ask, but how do you check mutations? I pulled the and compiled the latest code and when I loaded my world, my character was quite unhappy about a fey mutation.

Heh?  Fey mutations should provide positive morale.  Had you actually mutated (possible mutation bug)?  If not, then it's possible something changed in the morale list and that shifted yours.  (== Cosmetic glitch.)

How does one get fey mutations anyways?

Just started playing this. Great game.

Question. Playing with Debug mode. How do I spawn a liquid in a container? Want to mess around with serums. Elf and plant serums sound fun - and there's a half-written article on the wiki for the game about using them to switch species. Sounds like something worth investigating/causing !!FUN!! with.

Sadly, I suck at it too much to survive zombies yet, but messing around in the shelter alone is fun. Sure wish I could spawn my Bride profession character in a church though, or a city or something. Middle of nowhere shelter...

I've played through about nine characters, one was me just getting used to playing, three died from zombies, and five died to animals because my base ended up surrounded by dozens of hostile woodland creatures and I don't know why. Is there a way to reduce animal spawns or something?

These things are probably randomly generated. It's a book that takes 9 skill to read and brings your skill to 9, so its only benefit is the recipes. I also seem to remember seeing one without any recipes.

The latest experimental seems to be broken. I just downloaded it, and it freezes and crashes as soon as I run it.

See if this helps. I don't think anything changed in that regard between the version I use and the latest, and this is the primary suspect for startup crashes.

The non-recipe one is listed as a "decoy" in the .jsons.

I'm not running the latest experimental, but I get errors examining certain books, like the DIY Compendium and The Handloader's Helper.

Yeah, it worked. Thanks!

Thanks.... By the way....any big differences between the "grahics  ready easy download" stable version with the mod manager and the experimental, feature wise?
