I once messed up a CBM installation and got the mutation 'Strong', which increased my strength by 1.
This really shouldn't be happening IMO, installing CBM's shouldn't give mutations but nobody has gotten around to changing it yet.

The fact that CBM installation message warns of the possibility of genetic damage should the installation fail makes me fairly certain it is intended. If I were to headcannon it, it's either due to either some sort of radiation leaking from the CBM due to improper installation, autoimmune response coupled with the radiation-mutates-you factor that shall not be explained here, or the response by the aforementioned factor.

EDIT: My looting strategy, which I dubbed the Viking style, is pretty effective so far. Crashing rubble draws zombies into one area where they are easy to avoid by staying out of said area, I am not pursued since zombies can't get past the raging fires I create in the smashed windows, and since I have the Quick trait and a filter mask, I can scour the area off high-importance objects and flee.

What's a good place to look for a bicycle? I'd rather find one than have to build one but I've yet to ever see one in the streets.

Sometimes they appear in parking lots.

I've seen a folding bicycle appear in a sports store; you could try checking there.

WHAT THE SHIT, GAME? All of a sudden, right in the middle of a small town, there's like 12 giant worms in a line, and since they burrow my usual combat tactic of:

don't work on them.

FUCKING ZOMBIE DOGS.

Stop it, zombie dogs. Stop being terrible horrible things. Why are you so fast? At least other fast creatures can be not aggravated. But no, you just have to be terrible and kill my characters constantly.

Zombie dogs are like shockers and spitters - you can't outrun them, your best bet is to charge and kill them before they do too much damage. They also have the zombies braindead pathing, so standing with a bush or similar terrain obstacle nearby is a good way to force them to stop and engage you. They do suck, but they shouldn't be lethal unless you let them attack you while you focus on something else.

If you have the spare volume carry a few rocks (or other thrown weapon) with you. That way you can hit the dogs as they approach. Also when they do that annoying back away thing they do.

Lure on the bush, use a fire-starting tool three (or more, if you feel the need for excessiveness) on the bush. Zombie hot-dog, one serving.

Incidentally - pyromania is the best solution for Regional School:

a) No morale drop
b) All corpses conveniently destroyed beyond resurrection
c) Regional School is pretty meh loot-wise anyway
d) You know you wanted to watch your school burn once or twice.

I've been running into a strange bug this time where my carts will no longer allow me to put items inside. I'm not sure if they're taking damage (I did accidentally drag one over a pit right before it happened, and the other survived a few spitters) or if it's a glitch, but it's kind of annoying. I'm down to one left.

Carve up some wood and keep the bits on you to create instant fires with no bush needed. Alternatively, use the trolley-shield method to get free hits on zombie dogs. Or just pump loads of points into melee and a weapon skill on start for a quick boost into middle-tier playing.

They're not full, are they? I know a shopping cart can only hold so much stuff before you start leaving things on the ground.

You can also 'e'xamine them while empty to view them as a vehicle, which will tell you if the box part is destroyed.

Sooooo, guys... what if I told you I just cleared out a MEGASTORE using nothing more than 15 25 matches? And leaving the store itself intact, aside from tables zombie horde demolished?

EDIT: My bad, I thought matchbox had the capacity of 10 when I wrote that.

Good sir, I would impose upon you to elaborate, nay expound upon the event in question.
