The problem is, it seems that it checks for interruptions every 15 minutes.  If there's a noise in that time, it gives you a noise warning.  Problem is, if there's ever a zombie, they come into view and attack you within 15 minutes, because they're fast enough to simply walk straight towards you and it might only take 2 minutes to reach you from max sight range.

It also handles any prompt for all prompts - if you say "No, don't interrupt me because of this noise" then it also assumed you don't want to be stopped for anything else.  I always stop actions when I hear a noise, because I know it won't warn me when I get hit.

This is the part I feel should be changed.

I just had a cheeseburger with onions, bacon, cheese spread (all my regular cheese went bad overnight D=)wolfspider meat (that was half a day old before being cooked) slapped between two slices of bread.

I had ketchup and mustard and salt and stuff. So pretend I threw those on too.

I shall call them.... Apocoburgers.

(I wonder how giant mutated by extra-planar goo spider meat tastes...)

And then, they will be weaponized. Like everything in this game, from kittens to babies, everything is a potential device of murder.
So if baseless speculation is all we have, we might as well treat it like fact.

Eating a cheeseburger is actually a huge accomplishment.

Nah, after the apocalypse everything suddenly starts to taste like Turkey.

Apparently spiders are quite crunchy. So I imagine like that, except with a little goo if you chomp into the wrong spot.

My current character is running around with about 5 pounds of spider beef jerky. Why is it still called "beef" even when not made of beef?

Not surprisingly, there are actually people in the world who eat spiders.

So, I guess realistically a cross between chicken and cod without the fishiness.

It's literally the thought that counts.

Because most things are named after what the player thinks them to be. :P

Also yeah, that's true. People do eat insects and/or arachnids. Just certain arachnids.

Spiders are more closely related to crabs than many other creatures, so I'm going to say that it'd taste a bit like crab or lobster.  The cheap kind.

Speaking of spiders, any advice for killing them on a budget? I'm holed up in my 'safe'house, with a jumping spider to the west and a wolf spider to the east. I've got one \ of health for my torso, but everything else on me's dandy.

A bit sandy, with some crunchy limestone architecture and Mediterranean vegetation as seasoning?

We are doomed. It's just that whatever is going to kill us all just happens to be, from a scientific standpoint, pretty frickin' awesome.

What can train Mechanics to level 1 ?

On the last library (the 2 other ones accidentally ... burned) of my now cleared town, i found a Mechanic training book but sadly it requires you to already have a few levels there.

My goal would be to remove a board from a nearby destroyed car then add it to my working vehicle, as i sleep in it but annoyingly there's a board lacking from a part of it and those damned spiders spawning can still come in and attack while i'm resting .
But after getting the required tools in a store in town, unfortunately i noticed it requires 2 in Mechanic to be able to remove any vehicle parts.
