Greetings earthlings.  We are here to reboot your section of the universe for a hotfix.  Do not be alarmed, but you will be unable to log into reality for the next couple hours.  Please review the changelog and the changes to the terms of service while you wait.

- Fixed the missing 0 at the end of item decay speed.  Objects will now decay 10 times slower.
- Fixed the error in carbon based lifeforms that would cause them to die for no reason at higher ages.
- Fixed the exploit allowing faster than light travel by strategically expanding the fabric of spacetime around an object.

Just got an augmented muscles CBM from a shocker.  Installed successfully!  It's there on my p screen, nice and passive even.

Only it doesn't appear to work.  Says it increases strength by two, and it cannot be activated, but my strength still shows as 11/11.

Yes, full power at 32, currently and as of install.  But as a passive CBM, it shouldn't use power?  I tried to activate it anyway, but it cannot apparently be activated.  Which makes sense for a passive, but still, it doesn't seem to 'work'.
Not to ask too stupid a question, but you did take an additional step after you installed it right? The game doesn't actually update your stats until the following turn after you install a bionic.

Is it just an aesthetic thing?

From the wiki: The place where the bulletin board is built becomes a "base". This allows players to order allied NPCs to move to that position and defend it.

I'm not sure though

Interesting... Time to figure out how to make a two way radio/find one so i can test that...

Or find some of those NPCs that are wandering around so I can ally with them.

I normally ally NPC's with a .40S&W round. It's a deadly combination.

... Nope, hadn't.  Never realized that was a part of the mechanics, though now you mention it I have seen minor odd flickers of the morale emoticon that were very slightly 'out of sync' with the action I took to change the mood... and I had read that installing CBMs took 0 time.

Just never put the two together.  Thanks!  Taking a step made everything right again.
