Heaven forbid that bed is on an RV and while driving it, you hit a shrub...

I'm trying to picture how that would work. Would the shrub cause the painting to pinball around the cab? Would it fly off the wall and lodge in your kitchen unit, shuriken-style? My favorite is hitting a shrub just causes the painting, kitchen unit, and solar panels to spontaneously combust, leaving the rest of the vehicle unscathed.

Turns out the game physics are modelled perfectly, it is just that the shrubs are mutated so much they are made of exotic matter.

EDIT:
@Acid rain and batteries

Even if it is horrible alien stuff, if it acts like acid enough, you can safely presume it has other properties that make it viable for batteries (presumably, whatever unholy mix it is, it protonates shit, and does it with ease, making it strong)

How does one use a welding rig?

And what is it useful for?

If my memory serves, you install the welding rig in a vehicle and are then capable of using its batteries (which, given the somewhat abundant yet cardboard solar panels are rechargeable) for all the purposes you'd usually use a welder for. Huzzah!

Welding Rig also counts as a Soldering Iron for crafting purposes.

Welding rigs are awesome. I've done maintenance on most of a modified semi and only got the batteries to 99%. Once you have one installed, you can completely build a vehicle with zero battery worries. The only downside is, removing vehicular storage batteries drains them, so don't count on it being immediately usable if you don't have one setup and charged beforehand.

And then, they will be weaponized. Like everything in this game, from kittens to babies, everything is a potential device of murder.
So if baseless speculation is all we have, we might as well treat it like fact.

That feeling when you stumble upon an older character dead remains and his bicycle full of loot.

Also: That feeling when you can't use all the awesome weapons you just found because you picked the Android trait and got a fusion blaster arm. Oh Cata.

In older versions: Metabolics and Memory Banks - lethal for a new character, as you were unable to turn off metabolics and it would drain your food, and skill rust rates caused Memory Banks to activate frequently, draining your power and thus your hunger.

On one hand (pun not intended) you cannot use the normal weapons, on the other, Megaman fighting zombies sounds like something that needs to happen.

Also. I present you with a challenge. Schizophrenic Clown Trapper. Must be named HONK (dotted spelling acceptable). Bonus points for modding in a banana peel trap.

Considering that the newest version only came out a few days ago, no, the wiki isn't all of the way updated. Most of it still remains the same, but there is still a lot that needs a kind soul to come along and give it a bit of polish.

Well just listing the more major things:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

There were also a lot more things that were simply less visible, and a ton of behind the scenes clean-up. We did have like 2000 commits between version .7 and .8 after all. :P
