Is there some requirement to installing footpedals? They show as green but will not actually install when I hit enter.

It counts as a engine, so if you already have a engine, mechanics required for two engines.

As in succeed in installing the same type of bionic that originally caused the faulty install?

No, as in craft a bionic with it.

I think faulty bionics are forever. Maybe a hospital might be able to fix but I can't say I have ever tried.

If you fail to install a bionic and it remove all your bionic, I think it can work.

Just made my first vehicle, a bicycle. I feel like this is an incredible accomplishment.

I was nearly done making my first vehicle (modifying a fully functional golf cart to be solar powered), until I was out building up mechanic skill and found a fully functional car with just enough gas to put over to a station.

I'm still going to do something with the golf cart, just because I want to now.

I am now rolling around in a 100% solar powered vehicle. I need to slap on a few more solar panels but so far its working well.

A single large electric engine will push something larger than a schoolbus, it just doesn't accelerate very well.  Luckily solar equipment is literally littering the streets.

Try and mount an RV Kitchen Unit too!  I didn't manage to get mine mounted, but they sound AWESOME.

New item idea: Bionic removal kit.

Craftable from a knife, any sort of CBM, and a first aid kit, possibly some other stuff, and a rare find in places with medical supplies or bionics. Would allow you to remove one bionic, at the cost of destroying it, easily, or, significantly harder, remove the bionic without destroying it. If it is a faulty bionic of some sort, it would be significantly harder, or possibly only be able to downgrade them to less faulty conditions.
