The kickstarter's making awesome headway considering it only launched early this morning O.O

All the broken vehicles everywhere is rather hilarious considering the initial gripes against the truck sleeper design back in the original Cataclysm. Many people hated it because it was a massive stockpile of resources. Of course you still had to burn through welders to disassemble things.

I think the main source of recognition for Cataclysm DDA comes from Bay12 and Youtube LPs, so we best capitalize on it.

SomethingAwful has had threads about it since Whales was still the sole developer.

It is best to make sure this thread is on the first page at all times during the campaign. Hell, might even want to resurrect the old thread.

If we are going to do that then we should get Glyph to update the title so denote that the kickstarter is running.

So it seems I accidentally put my canteen in my wheelbarrow and didn't notice... and then I got really thirsty... so right before going to sleep I go to take a swig from my canteen and... end up snorting a line of low-grade meth.

That's important. A bunch of people are going to get dropped into the first page of this thread, the kickstarter link ought to be there for sure.

Features - Check the changelog for a full list

Zombies will revive after a time, if not butchered (or otherwise dealt with).

Seriously?  I assume burning the corpses also works.

Huh, I thought that they did that already. Oh well, I guess it was great practice for 0.6.

They have for a bit now but as of the last official release they did not. I think that feature was added to the code only days after the .5 release.

Additional feature request. If zombies revive while on fire, they should be on fire once revived, thus causing issues. So, you'd have to choose between quick, easy, and risky, or slow but sure.

Ustxu Iceraped the Frigid Crystal of Slaughter was a glacier titan. It was the only one of its kind. A gigantic feathered carp composed of crystal glass. It has five mouths full of treacherous teeth, enormous clear wings, and ferocious blue eyes. Beware its icy breath! Ustxu was associated with oceans, glaciers, boats, and murder.

You can "s"mash corpses in order to keep them from reviving; it may take multiple tries.

Hard hits also send blood and gore flying onto other squares.

That is a nice feature, and nice detail. Sounds more satisfying than it just disappearing.
