Does purifier have a tendency to remove bad traits? I'm thinking of making a mutant character.

Also, Is there anything like infinite batteries? I feel like the better items will eventually become useless if there is a limited supply of batteries.

Purifier targets all mutations equally, the robust genetics trait will make it more likely you'll mutate positive traits though, so a mutant is still perfectly viable.  You can also marginally 'steer' your mutations with starting traits.
Starting with good night vision for example gives you a good chance of mutating better and better night vision.  While starting with weak stomach gives you better chances of proceeding down that negative tree.  The mutation system has a bias towards mutation trees you are already in, and starting traits and mutations are the same systemwise.

Electronics skill can craft batteries with tin cans, a little metal scrap and ammonia. (You can replace the ammonia with other things but I forget exactly what).  So while that's still not infinite, most of that is common enough to not be a hugely limited resource.

Just get the metabolic interchange/ethanol burner/internal furnace CBMs and you can have infinite supply for most things. There is the fact that you cant use yer internal batteries to power external stuff though....yet.

CBM: Cord socket.

In all seriousness, a CBM: UPS will probably be done at some point. Its just so obvious and useful. Hell, maybe at some point you could even power your car with your internal battery. Just have a couple of cases of booze next to the drivers seat.

Minecraft UI is very simple. There's only so many ways you can implement "simple" without copying something. We also gonna complain that it uses WASD?

So I'm in a house, running from craptons of zombies, not to mention the damn COUGAR (god I hate those) and suddenly half of the northern wall turns to rubble, and a zombie hulk appears on my radar.

And I thought to myself, "I didn't know hulks could DO that..." before promptly dying in two hits.

I didn't realize how awesome LMOE shelters are as bases. Just need to get some light strips in there for reading and it would be perfect. The only thing that could make it better would be a nearby gas pump or something. But I can just keep jerrycans in the trunk so its no big deal.

If the suggestion "make Cataclysm multiplayer" (Which it has, and will continue to do so as anything with no multiplayer will get this suggestion no matter what) ever comes up, they can put one more tick on the pros section: multiplayer demolition derbies would be kickass.

I have a couple videos out which I forgot to post here. The first I end up very cold though eventually I will be able to keep warm. In the second I at some point realize I managed to without noticing get my survival skill up quite a bit.

So it seems I accidentally put my canteen in my wheelbarrow and didn't notice... and then I got really thirsty... so right before going to sleep I go to take a swig from my canteen and... end up snorting a line of low-grade meth.

Making a multiplayer game from a roguelike is like mixing an ice cube with a president.
