I have found an error/bug in version 0.2

When i descent the stair in evac shelter, not the starting point, the game crash..... i have the save file....

I honestly don't believe kiting is overpowered. What better way to deal with mindless creatures then to take advantage of their mindlessness? It is why Shock Zombies are often a big deal, because they can seriously ruin your zombie massacre powers.
A) Every creature is basically mindless.
B) Throwing does enough damage once you get a few levels in it to effectively one-shot ranged threats like shockers and spitters, even with nothing but a bag full of rocks.

The temperature system is still WIP.

With the new optional reworked spawning.

Thanks for all of your work on this game Darkling!  I'm very excited to try the new spawning method.

Wow, zombie brutes really don't take much to kill, huh.

Found a bunch of drug smugglers, nabbed a TEC-9 and MAC-10 with about 2 mags.

A few screens over, some army. Plenty of gear, MREs and 2 energy weapons (that I'll never get ammunition for, i'm sure.)

Tell that to the one that survived over 100 damage from a rifle before 3 shotting me.

I really wish that injured zombies would end up being slower. I'm not talking about pain, but if I was shooting at anything faster then me with a lot of health, I'd shoot it's legs first. Just like in fallout.

You would have to be some sort of wizard to reliably hit a moving person's legs.

How do you think he survived the apocalypse?

I've been playing a bashing, construction and mechanics character who's meant to be a bit of a stoner, no hard drugs though. I managed to camp out for a day on the outskirts of town before I tried bashing a brute to death in a window with a nailboard... Never make that mistake again.

So... what are the best throwing weapons?

Also, I kind of always wanted to mod in a bindle: jeans/t-shirt + stick, so you can get a bit of carrying capacity when you exit the shelter (my strategy was always raid the town for food on first day, hide in shelter basement and throw rocks until nightfall, go back for interesting loot). Probably have it skyrocket encumbrance on arms, because you lose the use of one.

Alas, I cannot into code.

If you implement overland railtracks we will be able to finally roleplay wandering hoboes in our re-enactment of Brains of Wrath.

Even then, hitting the hip would be a better option. It's also a larger and more stable target, and you'd likely break it (Or at least penetrate it) with a FMJ or a high caliber, crippling at least one leg. Missing the hip itself (Assuming you hit anything at all) still presents plenty of options, such as the lower torso, the spine, and legs. Nut shots are also exceedingly hilarious.

We might want to wait for smoother areas for that... 90 degree turns are not the nicest things for trains...
