I can see the reasoning a bit better now- but would it be all that hard to implement a morale loss every time you kill an animal?

Probably not, but I'll likely work that into a different perk at some point anyway.

Also, revolver shotguns, because why not?

I just know that eventually you're going to code a game within the game. A bit of computer skill and a household terminal? Pac-man. Morale boost. Loud beeping noises to get you killed. Bam.

I'm kidding of course, but you're taking this game in so many awesome directions that I wouldn't be surprised.

Actually, I'd considered letting you play like, tetris on terminals in buildings for a morale boost.

Another quick question: last night I fought off endless waves of zombies with a nail gun- does it make a loud noise like guns do and does it use the firearms skill?

If Tetris can be played on terminals, new trait: Gamer > Increased morale boost for winning games, but if you lose you may destroy the terminal though rage quit

Digging's a lot like surgery, see -- you grab the sharp thing and then drive the sharp end of the sharp thing in as hard as you can and then stuff goes flying and then stuff falls out and then there's a big hole and you're done. I kinda wish there was more screaming, but rocks don't hurt so I guess it can't be helped.

I suggested putting a morale penalty for killing animals while you have the animal empathy trait a while back, but empathy seems to have become less useful since then.

How i Can farm??
As far as I know you currently cannot.  There are farms on the map, and they have a lot of plants and things, but it seems the closest thing to 'farming' you can currently do either involves running over some trifflids for veggies, or picking squirrels out of the barbed wire fences at a farm after resting there.

What are some different ways of staving off the cold? I'm guessing certain clothing might help, but I'm not sure what (underarmor?). I've been carrying a sheet around with me thinking that it would come in handy if I got cold, but I tried sleeping with it and I couldn't get it to function at all. I was sleeping on the ground, mind you, not on a bed. Though.. I don't know if it would have made a difference.
There was some lava back in town, maybe I should just sleep near that. What could go wrong?

And another thing: is there any way at all to avoid taking so much damage from metal wreckage? It's really ridiculous how I walked around in it for about 10 turns, checking for plating, and my torso was cut up so badly that I had to use all of my medical supplies just to get out alive. Er, I guess I could have just examined the items from afar (woops), but still.

To keep warm, just wear clothing you'd normally wear in the cold.
Sweaters, pants other than jeans, Coats.. And remember that layers are helpful.

Keeping warm is pretty much the opposite of staying unencumbered, as it will add a piece of clothing covering all your bodyparts, and even though there's a lot of 0 encumbrance items, there's nearly no storage that goes with it.

I took the best of everyone's plans and devised my own plan. I would break down the door, catch it on fire, throw a bullet into it, leap through a window, and stab the bear using the window advantage. If an emergency came up I would teleport.

Of course, plans were made to fail, and this was no exception.
