Digging's a lot like surgery, see -- you grab the sharp thing and then drive the sharp end of the sharp thing in as hard as you can and then stuff goes flying and then stuff falls out and then there's a big hole and you're done. I kinda wish there was more screaming, but rocks don't hurt so I guess it can't be helped.

Do zombies get cold? They are cold blooded creatures.
To be precise, they're goo-blooded creatures.

Since butchering one nets "Tainted Meat (hot)" I'd say they count as warm blooded.

Then nevermind I have been corrected.

Every time I play I wish I was better at this game. People are posting about trying to achieve 1000mph with a custom made vehicle whereas I always get slaughtered by zombies that are exactly as fast as and much more numerous than me.

I believe he cheated in the parts to make the bike, it was damn cool though.

Every serious char I have has the quick or fleet footed trait though, you have to be able to outrun Zs.  Sneakers and wearing a skirt helps too (both give negative encumbrance).  Use your standard rougelikefu as well, use 1 tile wide windows to big mobs one at a time in a situation where they cant hit you.

Is the latest version stable?

If not, what is the estimated month for a stable version?

I find that bugs ruin my game alot.

It's relatively stable, we tend to get a fair few bugfixes into each releas

I think if you (a)ctivate dog food towards one it becomes tame.

If it helps anything the most recent git version I played nerfed them.  Making them as slow as regular greens, so chances are the next windows version will too.

Of course that version also had this funny little bug where it seemed that the character's temperature started well below freezing, resulting in frostbite on day one unless the first thing you did was burn the shelter to the ground and warm up on the inferno.    Good times... good times.  :P  (Yes I see it's fixed)

It's not fixed, I just switched temperature off :P

Now I think of it, I might move that into an options toggle so people can play without temperature if they want.

I think I may have just found a small problem with that fix though.  Can't sleep anymore.  Always interrupts you saying it's too cold, regardless of conditions.
