Looking closer, the stow board seems to be nothing special at all, FOODCO appears to be an upgraded kitchen unit (if I'm right there), and the minifridge is ... a fridge.  How that particular 'fridge' part works isn't described.

Actually unless something has changed int he last couple of weeks (which it very well could have, development pace being what it is) it doesn't actually do anything at all (though it should eventually stop spoilage once we get around to that).
