Actually, once you've got the right stuff installed, it's as easy as typing in a command and you've got your build compiled... at least that's how i got it to work after doing a lot of looking around.

   Just going to post that I managed to compile the thing just fine on Windows with Code::Blocks. It seems my previous problems where with some herp a derp I managed to do at some point. I like the compare feature and think it really improves item scrounging.

On my first new round I get a debug error tho:
"tried to generate map for omtype 141, "nuclear plant"

and another:
"centadodecamonant doesn't exist in grid; withing add_spawn(105, 1, 6, 0)

The viewport resizing is glorious.  So much more playable.

My password is not working anymore and the DDA forum, and trying to set a new one doesn't work, i don't receive anything (spam checked). Tried three days ago, and today.

Also, i'm on Linux Lubuntu, and i can't find how to resize the view. Shift+Vikeys are ok, but if i drap the Terminal window, it doesn't increase the view, just black screen the empty space. I updated the game with "git pull", then "make clean" then "make", no error. V and I to oView and compare Items are working, so i guess i'm up to date.

The option to resize is in the options menu. ? then 2.
