Digging's a lot like surgery, see -- you grab the sharp thing and then drive the sharp end of the sharp thing in as hard as you can and then stuff goes flying and then stuff falls out and then there's a big hole and you're done. I kinda wish there was more screaming, but rocks don't hurt so I guess it can't be helped.

pick the lock or pry the door.
can guns jam?

also, may i share a story about what just happened to me?

I've had a gun jam once.  I think it's a very very small chance though, and it doesn't seem to cause any real problems outside the gun just not firing that turn.

And sure, feel free.

They aren't quite in yet.  I think you can use a two way radio to try to call them for some backup, but I've never seen it work.

Is there some way to get the game to play in fullscreen? It's so small on my monitor it's really hard to play for long periods of time.

Mephasteras: Follow these instructions in the bottom post and you'll have a nice scalable font to use :D It gives a good font size to use for very high resolution monitors as well :D

Oh Cataclysm lives huh? This is nice and since there is a Windows version that works I might be able to stick with it longer this time. I guess I will end up making yet another LP though, maybe I should finish one of those eventually. I do have one question, is there an easy way to compare the gear you are wearing to stuff on the ground or in your inventory?

So it seems I accidentally put my canteen in my wheelbarrow and didn't notice... and then I got really thirsty... so right before going to sleep I go to take a swig from my canteen and... end up snorting a line of low-grade meth.

The git version has a compare key (I think it's 'I' but I'm not sure)  That will do a colored side by side comparison of two items.

It will probably be in the next windows version too unless the coding peoples say otherwise.

So I thought, cool I guess since I have code::blocks on my computer already and I read earlier in the thread you could compile on windows with that this will be easy. Oh look it wasn't so I guess I don't have my thing setup right or something. I tried some googlefu but the specific error is slightly harder to google then I would like so I figure I would ask here. Can anyone tell me why I am getting the following error?
ld.exe          cannot find -lSDL

Yeah, help with compiling windows and/or more frequent .exe updates would be greatly appreciated.

ld.exe          cannot find -lSDL
-lSDL is the linker parameter to compile an SDL program. If you have the DevPak installer in CodeBlocks as a plugin, then you can just download the SDL Devpak (Preferably the latest version) and then recompile the program again.

Alternatively, you can take a trip to the official site of SDL (Here) and grab a copy for Mingw from it. This process, however, is slightly more difficult if you are not a programmer. Should you decide to do it this way, then just unzip the SDL you downloaded and copy the "include", "lib", and "bin" directories and paste 'em directly in the Mingw directory (which should be found easily in the CodeBlocks folder.)

Ahem, slightly unrelated but I didn't know Cata was compiled with SDL. If it is indeed so, perhaps I should also compile it...
