There's a disassemble key, though I can't recall what it is.  I think, like, ( or something - check the wiki.

I built a bunch of turrets on a vehicle and mounted one on a custom-built cart, but neither will fire, even after I set them to burst mode via controls.  Am I missing something?  Do I actually have to stock them up with ammo, or something?

Did you drop the right ammo into their respective squares?
So they DO need ammo?  Crap, alright.

Is a sawn-off pipe shotgun a decent last-resort weapon? It's probably the best firearm I'm likely to find ammo for for a while, so I'm wondering if it's worth making. Of course, my plan is really to eventually make the shishkebab because that's awesome.

You'd probably be better off with a molotov or three. They'll do more damage and are useful against more than one target. Otherwise I'd start searching for military corpses/helicopter wrecks and hope for a LAW.

Actually I saw a LAW earlier; and am set up next to a bar.
I have no idea why I didn't consider either of those.

How would one go about removing a wall? I'm trying to build a door, but I don't know how to get rid of a wall tile. Trying disassemble furniture on it didn't work, and whacking it with my crowbar a few times doesn't seem to be doing anything.
Jackhammer, explosives, or bait a hulk over.
Dang, I was afraid it would be something like that. I was hoping that a stone axe would be enough to punch through a wall, but it looks like I might have to make friends with a hulk.

I've actually had some good luck using ammo. Place a single bullet on the ground next to what you want to demolish and then a small pile of splintered wood or 2 by 4s or something similarly flammable next to it.  Light up the wood and step a few tiles away.  The fire spreads to the ammo and the ammo creates a small explosion.  It's not 100% reliable, but after doing it a few times you should eventually get a one or two tile wide hole in whatever you placed the ammo near.  (also possibly a raging inferno, but that's what you keep a fire extinguisher for.)

Oh and for the love of god make sure you do this from outside the wall.

I find it amusing that you can be a male bride. Or a female groom.

Where can you find duck tape? I just found a spray can and a several lighters in house on the outskirts of town.

Nope, you can even attack them and they won't mind. Multiple times I've hit one with a rock accidentally while training my throwing.
EDIT: Internet being weird; may have double posted.

from what I've seen, no. Occasionally a dog has walked up to me and followed for a short while before leaving.

Dwarves passing by get good thoughts from the mist of water and exploding felines.
Anyone of the equivalent to the royal bloodline in a nomadic group would have a sun tattooed on their hand, or a scrotum on their forehead (it's a little-known fact that fraternities are based off of long-forgotten tribes).

Dogs can attack. I've been aggro'd by at least one in recent memory. Its sort of rare though...

It turns out a heavily damaged dog will take the hint and run away. But not before taking a big chunk of your leg out first.

Hmm, I'm looking at the makeshift weapons and I'm actually rather liking the looks of them.
I'm thinking that for a staple weapon I could use the coilgun. Low recoil and almost infinite ammo laying about.
