Can't you just push wrecks out of the way now? I thought that was the entire point of the mechanic that lets you move shopping carts around.

Not to my knowledge.  The wrecks get pushed away, in front of you, only to collide with the next wreck and then become too clogged to be pushed by your vehicle (and in the process, destroying your welding rig, kitchen unit, solar panels, and headlights).  And you can't smash through them either, because when a part is destroyed to dark grey it still remains as something you can hit.

Couldn't you push them to the side of the road?

Not without like 18 str.  The weight you can drag depends on your strength, and a lot of the cars are just too big to pull.

Hydraulic Muscles start sounding extremely appealing, huh?

Which is broken if you need advanced bionics to be able to use a reasonably sized vehicle...

That sounds like it doesn't accommodate for the wheeliness of a vehicle. Joe McAverage can push a car even with his weedy, non-bionic arms; because it has wheels to roll on, the car doesn't need much force to move.

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

I just thought of something. Why not just make bushes rarer? If we assume the bush is big enough to stop a car then you won't be finding them all over the place. Fields which where up until just days before at least half kept up  wouldn't suddenly have giant vehicle stopping bushes. Maybe if we get the vehicle situation fixed so bushes are a more realistic problem or at the least a funner one we can up their count again but until then they sound like they just frustrate people.

So it seems I accidentally put my canteen in my wheelbarrow and didn't notice... and then I got really thirsty... so right before going to sleep I go to take a swig from my canteen and... end up snorting a line of low-grade meth.

Or, add a small bush kinda tile that is just cosmetic and cannot stop vehicles.

If there's no bushes, what will we exploit to fight zombies and wolves without taking damage in fields? D:
