Again, for things you don't want to get into melee with and have no better ranged weapons for, throw rocks. It works.

Rocks rock. I have slain both moose and cougar with rocks more than once. I haven't tried it on some of the more dangerous creatures out there, though.

Apparently its in the plans for if dead zombies are grouped together they'd form some kind of flesh wall thing (or something like that) and it would be possible for it to turn into jabberwock. Apparently I reminded the devs of such plans when posting in a certain terrible ideas and suggestions topic.

What's a decent weapon for fighting shocker types?  Do non-metal weapons ignore the shock-on-attack problem?  There's not any low-volume or sheathable weapons that aren't metal...

I'm always playing a martial-artist//unarmed type and...
The shock-on-attack activates for any melee it seems -_-

I ran into Shia Labouf in my first ever game of Cataclysm. I was stumbling through the woods, infected and pain wrecked with no good equipment and shredded clothes. And then my text thing started putting in random words and this blood red @ murdered me. It was actually terrifying.

Ah, I just wore a gas mask so I could ignore cold/flu, I didn't realize there was more to health than that.

Healthy food sounds like a lot of work though.  If I raid a hospital and just take like 20 flu shots, will that mess me up?  Is there an upper cap for "health"?

Dont think so, but I think that veg is good for you, just make a bunch of boiled greens/tea and eat/drink that.
