Okay, so my character re-roll function has been merged, and the separate overmap font thing is as complete as I can make it... are there any other low-hanging unimplemented fruit around here? There's a thing I'd like to work on, but seeing as I literally have no idea how to start doing it, I think it may be beyond me. >_>

It functions well enough to open up a neighboring basement full of giant black widows that had no other means of getting in. There was no stairway connecting that basement to the surface. I'm glad I opened it up in winter. There is more butchered meat than I could eat in a year. I think this is going to be 200-300 smoked meats.

Perishable food that has plenty of time left, or a towel that's wet so needs to be left to dry.  (Don't Panic!)

So following on the discussion earlier, I just successfully escaped the lab in the laboratory start. Was surprisingly easy. All I did was start with one point in fabrication and as the survivor profession (for the pocket knife). This allowed me to Macgyver a quarterstaff (with 23 bash) from a nearby bed and a leather jacket. After that, I waited for nightfall then just chucked a bunch of two by fours at the turret by the entrance to kill it, then smashed down the doors down and made my way to freedom.

I knew I shouldn't have stayed too long near a fungal bloom. Every time I go on forays anywhere near fungals I start activating their pathfinding and potentially drag them home. A year of existence must now be uprooted. I'll have to refit an RV or something and find an alternate route around a forest I just cut through to fit my 3 tile wide car. It's that or fix that humvee and get cargo carriers on it. I still need to make a daylight foray around three cities that are close together to see if there's more fungals. A slime pit is worrisome. I still need to train up to hack the missile silo I found.

I remember back when archery was OP. I took down a tower with less than 20 metal arrows while all the fungaloids were burning. And I even recovered almost all arrows.

My favorite part of OP archery was killing hulks with two headshots using wooden arrows.

... I like to imagine I put one in each eye.

How to get out of lab:
1) use traits to get strenght to 20
2) get 2 by 4 from counter
3) smash through walls with 2 by 4

It takes quite some time, but it works.

My 3 city setup had some nice buildings that were missing from my original city. I even found a river for the first time. Then a lab and antique shop. Then ffffffffffuNGALS!!! Also another missile silo. There are a bunch of things I haven't seen around these cities. I just drove around a refugee center. I'll probably grab one of the school buses I saw for the big move.

Chair and lockers barricading part of the refugee center? Hmmmmm.. I wonder what's in there....
