I'm sure the whole enslaving a zombie is referring to Michonne's zombies on The Walking Dead, as seen here:

Yeah, of course. Do you need a chain of some sort?

The only thing that increasing moose weight would do is make them do more damage to cars on impact, not sure it influences anything else.

Given that right now, running them over with cars is a good way to kill them, rather then a good way to total your car, giving meese more weight might make it more realistic.

RE: Weapons getting stuck.

Tried making a Forged Sword, as it is much lighter, faster to swing and might have the proper tags. It sort of worked, but still got stuck a lot[Didn't get yanked out of my hand though.]. After nearly dying and having to shotgun WOLVES because I took tons of free hits from pulling my weapon free, I just said "Screw it" and got myself a quarterstaff and some military grade armour from a lucky military wreckage. I had more Bashing then Slashing skill anyways. And then I crashed the game by summoning NPCs with a 2-way radio and now have to switch weapons and upgrade my equipment again. I've also had my weapon spontaneously disappear after missing a creature[Usually a fox or something similar] wildly. "V" turns up no mention of it, nor do the logs record me dropping the weapon or it getting stuck in the creature, so I'm assuming its a bug. Same happened to my hard-won wrench, but I think I just threw it at a zombie in desperation after getting my Lajatang stuck in it and forgot where it was. I used the debug menu to restore both items, because that's what the menu is for.

Why are people surprised that improvised cutting weapons are terrible? Even a forged sword is just scrap metal beat into shape using a regular fire. You should be amazed it doesn't snap the first time it hits something. Whereas a club, well. A clubs a club. Kinda hard to have a bad club unless you're a total moron and try to use a nerf bat.

Still, you'll be grateful for that cutting damage when you run across anything with armor, and if it weren't for sticking nobody would ever use blunt if they could help it.

FYI, the forged sword also does not have proper weapon tags. It has a stickiness rating of 168, which is higher than the crude sword.

Mobile fortress, with flamethrowers at the front to burn down trees, and turrets all around the outside.

99% of the time, the most recent one is the most stable. If it's not, go back a day, or wait a day.

And then, they will be weaponized. Like everything in this game, from kittens to babies, everything is a potential device of murder.
So if baseless speculation is all we have, we might as well treat it like fact.

Are there any plans in including survivor communities at some point? I'd love to be able to form my own so building a base (mobile or not) would have more of a point, with a place to leave NPCs behind to farm etc.

It's already sorta being worked on. Hell, you can already find a large, barricaded 'survivor centre', can't remember the name right now.

The thing is, NPCs still need work before it becomes viable.

Yeah, for me, NPCs are people for me to loot after the kill a few zombies, or to kill and loot if they try to rob me.

I have noticed, though, no matter how you kill them, they always leave a perfect corpse that never seems to rot. I can blow a jabbawock to meaty chuncks with a M72 LAW, but not an NPC.
