well...according to the game almost any vehicle that isn't in a parking lot must be either non-operational or no fuel/battery. Non-operational includes busted engine, wheels broken, seat gone, or vehicle controls gone. There may be other cases I missed but the rate which you can find a fully functional vehicle...is rare to the point its silly. I could understand as time progressed the chance got higher and higher, with past the first season you will start finding cars chopped up and/or in worse condition.

If you can get even a bit of mechanics and a handful of duct tape the odds are semi-decent that you can find the needed part nearby. I just recovered an APC with some fuel, some battery charge, driveable except for the busted seat. I had to drag one about 10 feet and tape it in, was good to go.

Can't heal a bite wound. Huh. 10 medkits, a bottle of disinfectant, and two cauterizations later and its still there....

Must be a bug. But its odd, I've treated bites on this character before, what's changed...

Maybe it's beyond the stage when you can do anything about it?

Seems like a bug just because that's a lot of treatment. I wouldn't know if it actually is or not.

I'd imagine it as the zombie took an actual bite out of you like an apple and it's healed up but left a tooth shaped indent.

It goes away after a good sleep--there's a specific message that tells it heals.

Though no specific message saying the first aid kit use fails at all in cleaning--as in no message saying that it cleans the infected wound.

I've had tons of those. I'm a melee unarmed user, training all those other styles that aren't recommended to check em :P

So uh, what's the point of having power storage Mk II CBM be 12 electronics skill required? as far as I can tell you literally can't get skill that high...

You can get 20 skill with cheating, so I would think you could also get that naturally...

Not necessarily with caps. If there aren't books or actions that can train it that high you can't get it.

Yeah, looking through recipes.json the only things above 9 are solar panels 2 (10) and power storage 2 (12).

You could, in theory, sit in a safehouse for a couple seasons assembling, disassembling, and reassembling solar panel 2's for paltry skill gains until you hit 12, if solar panel 2 doesn't stop giving gains at 11. But you can't progress past 14 even if you wanted to destroy such a ridiculous amount of advanced UPS's and plutonium to make and unmake that many power storage 2's. So basically I should cheat past the absurd grinding required to bother getting high enough to make them, I guess.

I once had like 15 melee.

My mechanics was high enough to double install engines.

In all the games of cataclysm, I have ever played, I have never seen anything that made me feel so hopeless and unable to survive as this did. I was left with a choice, face it head on, stop playing this map, or come to the forums begging for a way to solve this problem. I tried dealing with it at first, but I gave up after it whispered for the 100th time int he top left corner of the screen "DEBUG: NPC reload failed."

Help meeeeee.
