If its rain then it wont be like normal beer and it will likely have a syndrome in it. Atleast if its vanilla. To be fair I cant remember what types of rains that where allowed in vanilla. I usually get pus, vomit or blood rains.

No, but at the same time if this is a modded version of DF the rain could be in any biome I believe.  Could be in a good biome, for example, although it would still upset the dwarves caught in it.

Syndrome rains are entirely separate from other kinds of rains.

Alcohol rains don't happen in vanilla. They have to use the same code used for evil rains, causing the same unhappiness.

Murky pools are holy, they purify muck, blood and rain and magically transform it into water.
So no 7/7 dwarven beer unfortunately.

Water and Magma/Lava are the ONLY fluids in DF at the moment.
Beer and such are treated as "Globs", water and magma also act like this when loaded in minecarts hence the "water bolder" when used in a minecart-shotgun.
