GM Note: The King vaguely remembers you, not vice versa. Each update will cover three months. The other lord I was referring to was the count, your liege lord, who ostensibly ruled these people.

Get a a handful of lumberjacks, set up a wood mill and hire some carpenters to get some houses up in this bitch.

GM NOTE: The river is relatively slow flowing but deep. You can swim across, or build a raft ferry. A bridge is probably beyond your means at the moment. And, to clear things up, the farmhouses and forest on the other bank are both on your land (you believe).

I don't think destroying the homes of the villagers as our first lordly act is even remotely a good idea.
