Do what hulks do and use the ram to send trees scything into the groups of soldiers, retreat with the group as I do so.

(( Who knows maybe the enemy will decide being murdered by flying trees isn't worth it. ))

"What part of "stealth mission" do you guys not get? They're shooting us with motherfucking artillery and I have no fucking idea where we are!"
Cover Havel while he drags Elron to safety, then run after them myself.

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

To clarify what I said by which way you guys choose to withdraw in: both ahead (towards city) and behind (away from city) seem clear. You need to choose.

In any case it would be a battle of critical thinking and I refuse to fight an unarmed individual.

Because running TOWARDS the artillery shooting at us is idiotic.

I would like to not e that you guys are maybe 100 feet away from the outskirts, where there  are buildings and stuff.

Sorry for the mess here guys, just keep in mind that it's harder for me to show you guys where you are without pictures, and I don't want you to die because of misinformation. That would just make me annoyed at myself for not telling you enough. Anyway, I suppose I should start on the update now.

Mission 2, Turn 6- In the City

Disengage, and sneak away to the Northwest. If I come across a soldier's body that has clothing that hasn't been ripped or bloodied, take it with me.
[3+1+1v3] Well, the 'sneak away' part works rather well, but you and your team-mates weren't exactly nice enough... wait, you see one. [6] You drag the body along with you as you take cover behind a building, just inside the outskirts of town.

"Ah don' recawl sahnin' up fer dis." *ptew* "Ah, cramny, tha's one o' mah gud tayth. Stary o' m'creer. Wayl, le's fand th'uth'rs."

Locate others.
[3] You can make out movements in the dark, but no people. Ah well.

disengage from the combat area moving northeast and attempt to discern the location of the artillery encampment, decapitate anything hostile in my path.

if i discover the encampment switch to my rifle and take out the artillery operators and/or any ranking officers i see.

[4+1+1v4] You head in the same direction as Janus, and notice a flash of light over towards the middle of the city. Must be where the launchers are hiding.

((I'll get Greenstar out of here. See If you can shoot as we run eh?))

Fuck. Elron is down! Don't worry buddy, I've got you. Whatever happens, just keep shooting okay? Ignore the splinters. Stow my rifle and pick up Elron. Cradle him in my arms so as to avoid worsening the wound in his side. Disengage and lead everyone else East, so we can lose the enemy in the forest and regroup.
[2+1v3] You head in the same direction as Stark and Janus, Elron firing away as you dash towards the safety of the city.

"Augh, FUCK. Thanks, man. I'll cover you with my good arm."
Toss a smoke grenade, and switch on thermal for my pistol. Proceed to shoot wildly.
[3] [6+1] [4+1-2v1] [2+1v1] Throwing a smoke grenade that hits one of the approaching soldiers in the head, you open up, firing at any forms you see through the sight. You even manage to nail a guard in the chest., the blood showing as a vague cloud in the thermal sight as the shot punches through him.

Do what hulks do and use the ram to send trees scything into the groups of soldiers, retreat with the group as I do so.

(( Who knows maybe the enemy will decide being murdered by flying trees isn't worth it. ))
[4+2v1] [6+3v2] [2+3v1] It should be noted that I do not condone arboreal/human violence. That said, sometimes it just works. Just like sending a tree flying to smash two guards into a pulp works. Which you do.

"What part of "stealth mission" do you guys not get? They're shooting us with motherfucking artillery and I have no fucking idea where we are!"
Cover Havel while he drags Elron to safety, then run after them myself.
[4v2] [6+2v1] [2+2v1] Seeing Havel carrying Elron to safety, you take aim, looking for any possible opponents. Seeing Elron firing to the East, you take advantage of the hint to nail another soldier in the head before sending suppressive fire in each direction. Once they're safely with Janus and Stark, you follow their lead and head right after them, even as bullets tear through your previous position.

Action: Warn the team of the incoming enemy and coordinate the withdraw
You do just that.

As the team dashes to cover, the remaining soldiers try to take out Aethla, and Jared as they flee. [3v4+1] [5v2-1] [4v2+2] Fortunately for Aethla, Jared draws most of the soldier's attention. [1v2-1], [5v5-1] [3v2+1], [5v6-1] Luckily for him, though, all their shots are at terrible angles, and either glance off or embed themselves in the padding.

With most of the team now in the safety of a building in the outskirts, you all take a good look around. The area seems to be divided into blocks, a square-based grid of roads connecting the various buildings. From what you can tell, the outskirts of this particular city measure about eight by eight blocks, with the actual city starting around what seems like one or two blocks further in.

And yeah, the soldiers are probably still closing in outside. Those remaining, that is.

Team Location: Just inside the outskirts of the city.
Enemies Dead/Incapacitated: 20

Mission Info Spot: The MRCC Camo Suit is a next-generation stealth operations enablement suit. It contains the latest communications suite from Sygnalcorp, integrating inter-squad connectivity with auto-shifting camouflage patterns, based off of over a hundred different environments for maximum versatility. The camoflauge patterns aren't just in the visible spectrum, either- the proprietary IREJECT technology matches your infrared and night-vision signatures to the environment as well. The also suit possesses built-in Combat KnucklesTM, in addition to a full environmental protection system and basic medical boosters. Mobility is on par with the highly-praised Mercicorps Battle Armor, and the layer of bulletproof padding helps reduce damage taken from a variety of sources. ((Read-a bit less than light armor, but with active camo. But you're not invisible.))

((Agh. Sorry for the railroading/messy posting/info-giving. I didn't even really read all the actions before now. Gah. Ah well, we all make mistakes. It would have been somewhat entertaining to write the continued barrage. Anyway, please give feedback on my GMins and writing, because the more feedback I get, the better GM I am, at least in theory. And so, in lieu of a map, I have introduced 'Blocks'. Basically, think city blocks. It should help us all get a better idea of where everything and everyone is.))
