[Goddammit. I just found out I'm not gonna have net for the next month. GM, feel free to off Zadii unless one of the other players want to run him through this mission for me.]

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

Turn up tomorrow. I just need to avoid getting distracted...  :-[ Also, Xardalas, if it's fine with you, I'll just let Greenstar order you through the mission.

In any case it would be a battle of critical thinking and I refuse to fight an unarmed individual.

No, not like that. I mean CARRY HIM. He's dying. And I'm going to heal him best I can, and carry him through the rest of the mission.

Roll to be an Interstellar Mercenary (8/8)- This is getting messy. (Turn 11)
« Reply #171 on: January 25, 2013, 11:43:58 am »

"Thanks Stark" Janus said before thinking over his objectives. Two guys were in the communications area and two in the mines. That left the Railyard and the airfield. "Stark, lets go blow up the railyard." Janus moved towards the eastern side of the barracks, firing on any guards who attack him. He also radios Simon to ask for covering fire. "Simon, can you shoot any guards near the Rec Yard?"

((Do we have communications systems?))

((I think Elron should heal Zadii as Xandalas has a -1 to intel while greenstar has +1))
There's nobody on the eastern side of the barracks around where you are.

exit building, hunt more guards down, kill them
[1d3=2] Making your way out of the building in a similar fashion to Jared, you head south across the rec yard. Entering the large building in front of you through a side door, you listen carefully for any sounds of guards. [2] You hear nobody as you look over the large warehouse-like area, fillled to the brim with pallets loaded with metal bars, apparently waiting for shipment.

Zadii cries out as the knife pierces his armour, feeling the blade digging deep into his gut. "Fuck!" Writhing in pain on the ground as he clenches his teeth. His radio momentarily forgotten as his fingers tighten on his gun. "Shit...that fucking hurts..." Looking down at his wound and examining it.

Forget headset. Examine wound but DO NOT TOUCH IT.

[Bout time I got hurt. I only shrugged off what? Around fifty rounds now? Christ, am I wearing a iron man suit or something?]
It looks (and feels) like the knife went in above your intestines, but the angle it went in at means that it might have clipped your stomach...

AUGH! HEALHIMHEALHIMHEALHIM. Then mash random buttons on the control panels!
[5+1] Pulling off his chest plate (and the associated knife) and retrieving your medkit, you go to work. You spray a coagulant into the wound, and while it does take care of most of the wound (including the stomach), some of the coagulant MAY have gotten into the actual stomach itself. While it certainly doesn't seem to be very easy on one's stomach, on the plus side, Zadii did manage to get his helmet off before he threw up. Repeatedly. Stretching a bandage tight across the wound, you replace the chest plate and are done. He should be fine now, though he still looks a bit green and might have trouble moving.

Stepping over to a control panel, you look at the screen. [3+1] Going by the simple method of following the labels for the on-screen buttons, you [2+1] turn off the tightbeam long-range relays. [Long, Long-range comms.] There are still a lot of green buttons, though.

"Way to move up on my hit-list."

Shoot the guard that shot me.
[4+1+1+1+1] Your grenade flies in a perfect arc to land right on his chest, where it detonates, putting a giant hole through the guard's chest even as his gun flies away mostly intact, a piece of armor catching the trigger and firing a single shot right into the guard's head, sending him to slide down the back wall of the room, dead.

Draw my MG again and use hollowpoint ammo, charge to the comm relay as fast as possible.
Hefting your gun, you charge back out a nearby window and start a run towards the comm tower. However, as you sprint between two buildings ((Darker green and Blue)), [6-1] you hear panicked murmuring coming from the [dark green] building. A lot of it.

Tory grabbed his radio and says to his teammates: "I'm close to taking down the refinery here, how are you guys doing?". Then he turned to the miner and tells him that he should come with us.

Take the miner to the control room and overload the machines, then get the fuck out of there trough the north enterance* and head into the railjard. Able just follows.

*Makes sense that there would be a north exit, as else it would be quite a pain in the ass to get goods from the railjard to the refinery.

((We are doing very good. I hope that this place explodes and solves my guard problem.))
The two of you make your way to the control room, Able following. Making your way up a set of metal staircases, you make your way into the control room, where there are no fewer than five workers and 1 guard. [5+2v3] You get the drop on him, [4+1+1v4] your bullets punching through his arm and chest even as [4] he staggers back in pain. [1+2v5] He he starts firing single shots, and even though you shoot him again [5+2v5], [6+1v5], dropping him with a shot to the head, [6+1v3] it's only then that your armor saved you from several shots. The workers are busy cowering at their stations.

Directing the captured worker forward, you motion Able to guard the stairs as you push him into the control room. "Okay now. I want each and every one of you to overload the machines here," You whisper to each of the people in the room as you swing your weapon back and forth, covering them. [3] It's just then that you hear footsteps behind you, right as a heavy object comes crashing into the back of your head. [4+1v2] Luckily, the armor held, but you're still face-down on the ground, [3] stunned.

Able, hearing the noise, turns back towards the room and [6+1v4] grabs the worker holding a large wrench and holds him with an armored hand around his neck, his gun pressed to the worker's head. "Nobody move." He says. You manage to stand once again.

Guards' Turn (Southeast): [5] [1v2,4v2] While Able doesn't notice, you catch a glimpse of a guard creeping up the stairs to the control room.

((Imageshack was acting up, so I'm uploading to dropbox now, though if anyone has tips so that I can show the actual pictures in-thead, that would be nice. Also, Zadii will basically have to make an END check each turn to move, due to pain. So he's not perfect, but he's not dying for the time being.))

"Able... Behind you!"
Grab my grenade launcher and shoot the guard creeping up the stairs. If succesfull, draw my pistol and shoot the worker trough the head, then reload my main gun and 'nade launcher.

Tory mumbled "That bastard deserved it." and turned to the other workers. "If you don't want this happening to you too, then I recommend that you start overloading these machines RIGHT NOW!"

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

Load explosive ammo into my MG then place an anti personnel mine against the wall in line with where I think the voices are coming from, open fire on the building with the entire clip and use a bullet to trigger the mine. From a safe distance.

(( Explosive rounds vs a wall and human bodies, this is probably going to get very messy. ))

Well, yeah.

Make a mental note to submit that for "Kill of the Mission" afterwards. Snipe the something. Maybe something by the railyard?

Any better ideas, guys?
