I've decided to release 2.1, finally.
This one has a rather large list of changes, although not as much as 2.0.
New features of Dark Origins II
-The Crystal Empire faction (non-evil, playable)
Caste system:
-6 gem pony castes with body size equal to dwarves (60K) and special material templates (bones and other hard materials are replaced with crystals); grasping with magic body parts attached to both front hooves (not with mouth), every caste has a bonus for jewelcrafting
-Ruby & Sapphire: strong crystal materials, extra strength, +20% skill progression for close combat, smithing and masonry (ruby) / woodworking (sapphire)
-Emerald: less strong crystal materials, extra agility, +20% skill progression for ranger skills and engineering
-Amber: least strong crystal materials, +20% skill progression for farming
-Topaz: same materials, +20% skill progresssion with crafts
-Amethyst: same materials, +20% skill progresssion with medicine and organization
-Rare demicorn caste: 130K size, grasping with 2 magic parts attached to the horn and with mouth, alicorn materials, all skills grow 30% faster (dodging 60% due to wings)
-All entities have new positions: assistant medic (appointed by the chief medic, can diagnose), scribe (appointed by the administrator, can account & manage) and mystic (appointed by the site leader, raises morale)
-New creatures:
-Feral crystal ponies, including feral ruby, sapphire, emerald and "everyone else" creatures. There's normal, mutated (chitinous armor) and abomination (skinless) castes.
-Crystal golems, with bodies consisting of living rock with a crystal substructure (same material as crystal pony bones). Damaging the crystal can disable the golem (pain), also they have Heart Crystals in the head and chest.
-Crystal Beasts
-"Crystal wolf" creature with several castes of varying size and threat, from a pony-sized stalker to an alicorn-sized Slayer with a crystal shell and scythe-limbs
-"Crystal bug" (again, several varying castes)
-Crystal Snatcher - a custom night creature
-Crystal Mistress - an alicorn megabeast with spouse conversion
-Fluffy Ponies are domestic creatures that mostly serve as a cheap source of yarn, non-tainted meat, bones and leather. They're small (7.5K) and multiply fast (litter size up to 8 ). You need two fluffy hides to create clothing (not armor, as it's so fragile which is broken by all); also, you can't shear them (they'd die due to lack of thermal regulation), so the yarn can only be taken after slaughtering. The rare alicorn caste is intelligent, grows to large size (65K) and can make good pets (even fighting pets), and actually can be shorn. "Runt" fluffies will die within a year and have to be butchered within that time.
-Reworked plants. Grow duration in general has been increased.

-Enchants bolts of cloth, unsing silver and gold
-Common silk and fiber cloth is turned into silver or gold silk/fiber
-Yarn is turned into "tanned hide"-type item, with greater resilience
-Twilight silk needs catalyst caps for the reaction and can use platinum as well; produces high-value cloth
-Chromatic vine cloth is turned into the highest-valued Gemcloth, very high resilience
-Crystal Forge is renamed as Advanced Crystal Forge
-Organic refinery can create a floral quartz stone from crystal berries and catalyst
-NEW: Crystal Forge (needs 2 dull rainbow bars)
-Processes golem flesh into boulders and their heart crystals into rough gems
-Processes golem and crystal-pony crystals (butchered as globs) into "crystal shard" tools, different for crystal beasts and ponies
-Can shatter a crystal shard into rough gems
-Can create bars of "force crystal" wepon-grade material from crystal shards (density same as steel, cutting slightly worse than Dark Iron)
-Can enhance floral gems (first enhancement needs a fungal garnet, second needs a dull rainbow bar, all need catalyst)
-Can make furniture from gems and changeling fern pulp.
-Craftspony: Making wax crafts produces figurines only; can make cloth backpacks and quivers
-NEW: Advanced Distillery (needs barrels and pipes)
-Moved the mead reactions here from the still
-Can brew 20 composite drinks using combinations of plants (or plant extracts/mills)
