"I'M HIGH ON LOGIC. Think about it, weird clouds, weird sand, weird minerals. I dunno about the other 2 but the sand monster just put sand into Jerald. I say that the sand is sentient somehow and is trying to take over people bodies. Like that movie "Serpent Sandpeople Six."

"That movie was terrible. The explosions were great, though..."

"Really? I thought it was pretty deep... But anyway, you saw how the sand possessed people in the movie, i do believe something similar is afoot here! Too bad we melted the sandman, we could've asked him."

"Are you kidding? The deepest thing in the movie was the--you're right, Bliz, that's impolite. The whole thing was a mess of cliches and stereotypes! And explosions! Oh, the explosions..."

Jerald struggles against the semi-torched sand monster, kicking away from it's grasp. He feels the warm hands closing in to his throat. Suddenly the monster lets go as it's blown away in a shard of glass by Adam's shotgun. It won't be long until it reappears by the looks of it but he sure is stunned. Ignis lets out another werf of flames upon it making sure it stays the fuck down until they get into the HQ. Dubnus runs out the mess hall, locking it behind him with a metal rod. Dutch hears something walking behind him and turns. Dubnus stands there for a moment. "OPEN THE DOOR !". Dutch stares at him before finally mouthing. "How the fuck did you get in here?" Dubnus impatiently yanks his assault rifle before sprinting past Dutch, opening the HQ doors. Rex jumps over what's left of the wreck and falls on the tiled floor of the  HQ. The other technicians make their way inside, barricading the door with shelves and cabinets, all while Dutch stays there, trying not to look dangerous until the situation rages to a stop. The building vibrates under the echo of the rippling clouds. The lights flicker before finally going off. Five seconds later the emergency lights kick in, brightening the room with a vibrant red.

You have access to the mess hall, to the outside, the elevator and several office "closets".

The elevator can bring you to :

                                 Air pad
                                Fancy Restaurant and Apartments
                                Prison / Armory
                                [Entrance] / Your location
Power generators / Water purifiers / Lucius Bubble control
                                Vehicle tunnel
                                Mines

"I'll go to the armory and get some kit, can somebody look into food and water and somebody else check on the generators?"

Go to the armory and inspect it, pick up any big bags I find along the way.

Plug my AI into any sort of port and have it sweep the place for any important information on what happened to the city, focusing on the minerals we found and the gas cloud.

Drop off my bag in the mines and consult Bliz on where to go next. Go there.

(In case you haven't gathered, Bliz is the little rubber lizard.))

The accursed storm's roar comes to an end as the air is filled with daemoniac shrieking and chattering. Dutch almost chokes on coffee when he hears the eldritch noises. He slowly removes the mug from his lips and places it slowly on a plastic table. He checks if he's got all his equipment, and indeed he does. The tenebrous atmosphere thickens as the rusty elevator descends into it's slot. Adam and Jerald head get into the elevator and punch in number three for the general bio-colonization equipment. The elevator shudders and starts it's slow descend. The elevator doors open up with a thick steam bust, showering the technician's visors with water and thin mist. These elements usually symbolize that the atmosphere in cause is breathable, however it's up to the technicians to decide if they will to give up the internal oxygen supplies for fresh air. Adam and Jerald are greeted with almost total darkness, they can distinguish the faint shapes of objects, all lighted up by a massive, perfectly smooth sphere that seems to levitate, crackling with energy in the middle of the massive room. The ceiling drips with water as Adam notices that moss and other types of fungus are growing all along the walls. The air has a certain...odd color to it, it's a sickly yellow. There are several hallways, all bulked by small plants. There's a small holographic pad flickering on and off. It shows the direction in which the Power Generator, Water purifier and Lucius Bubble are. Adam lets out a small sigh before closing his eyes for a second. He suddenly opens his eyes, visibly shocked and eyeing Jerald. "If this is not the Lucius..what the fuck.."

The elevator returns to the fourth floor, opening it's metalic doors for Dubnus. He goes to the armory level. The stygian prison is filled to the brink with rotting corpses, flayed and loathsome. Truly a maddening sight. Dubnus doesn't waste time and bursts the armory doors down with a well placed kick. He rips the locker doors open, exposing several backpacks, a massive flashlight, two small metal spheres, a military tier space helmet and a laser drill. (Tap button to action against surface type). The armory is also equipment with strong tasers and police batons.

While Dubnus is scavenging the Armory, Rex and Dutch sit at a small coffee table and mess with the AI computer trying to find a way to run a history scan on the place. After several minutes the AI screen comes alive with a blue buzzing screen. "Only a synopsis, AI." comments Rex. The screen buzzes again before a voice ripples through the small speakers. "There are no informations regarding any cloud, Rex. The minerals are specific to this planet. Aezium is the name of it, really efficient fuel by Omier Jesse's studies, also very easy to process. The incident leading to it's discovery is certainly abnormal. Quoting Stefan Las : "We discovered this...thing in the mines. I..no, the scientists have no clue  of what it really is. It has the appearance of a spiraling rod but it's appearance seems to shift. It seems to be leading us to this clusters of..silvery minerals. I will make sure PoE hears about it..I will !" the AI stops for a moment before continuing. "I could certainly reveal other facts about this artifact if I were to scan it." Dutch eyes Rex before raising to his feet.

Ignis hears the AI's talks and shivers for a moment. "No no no, they are LYING, this is NOT right" yells Blitz. "It is marking us ! IT WILL DES-" Ignis interrupts Blitz's ramble and hooks the bag of Aezium. He pulls it to the elevator and heads down into the mines, dropping it off just near the entrance. The sand seems to go down a long way since the visible part of the mine is held unburied by monstrous iron columns that hold an gargantuan iron roof. Ignis hears a distant cry in the distance. He sees a shape closing in to his location. A man with a massive industrial drill, clad in mining clothes and wearing a respirator dashes towards Ignis.
