Responding to the footsteps, you stay in the hallway. While you wait, you briefly think about eating dirt, but dismiss this, because their is no dirt here. When the man comes into view, he seems shocked.
??? "W-Who are you?! This place was vacated last month!"
You " Well, you'd better tell me, because I woke up on some surgical table with a saw and a needle suspended above my chest."
??? " You we- Oh god. Oh, no, no, no, no!"

??? I need to tell them, before it's too late!"
You grab him as he attempts to flee down the hall and throw him into the room. You jump on top of him and hold the saw to his throat. You demand to know who you are, why you are here, and why he's so worried. He tells you that you are experiment 687, a test run of some kind of new super soldier serum. It was a failure, but it manifested some great powers in the subject. Namely, the ability to leech DNA from recently deceased creatures and the ability to then use that DNA and incorporate materials such as iron, granite, and even scales into their body. They kept you for further testing, but eventually, you and a scientist disappeared together. You were assumed to have been kidnapped and taken outside, until the man was found mauled, with shards of plaster lodged in him. The government planned to bomb this place and cover it up with terrorist attacks. Apparently, somebody found you and tried to continue testing in one of the rooms. You've been classified as an extreme threat, so he was attempting to warn the other people double checking the lab.
