Scan the area for sentries and guards from cover then move up to a position that gives a clean line of fire on the entrance and take cover.
You see no kobolds or other creatures in the area surrounding the mine. Confident that there won't be any attacks from behind you take up position in front of the mine, granting you a clean shot into the dark tunnel.
Look into the entrance.
You carefully sneak to one of the sides of the tunnel and peer into it. After 15 feet or so the tunnel becomes complete darkness and you are not able to see anything.
Go in front of Derm, cast 'Protection' on self.
You decide to protect Derm of his own foolishness and move in front of him incanting the spell "
Praesidium" as you do so. A green energy envelops you, protecting you from any possible harm.
April draws her pistols and covers them.
Moving next to Duros you keep your revolvers aimed down the dark tunnel, ready to cover your comrades if needed.
Also stay outside for now.
With blade drawn you take up position behind Duros and April, ready for any possible ambushes on the party's back line.
Move on into the mines with the group and move ahead of them.
You take the front of the group and together with Derm and Grey you start moving into the tunnel. After a few feet you stop however as it becomes hard to see where you are actually going. The tunnel is much to dark and only Grey's magic shield provides a little bit of light. You will have to make a proper source of light if you do not want to stub your toes on rocks.
