Turn 7
------------

"If that is all I will have to ask you to leave. I have much work to do." she says as she grabs her quill and some paper "Return to me when your task is done."
The party is then quickly escorted outside by one of militiamen. "Good luck." he says as he leaves you outside.

Go into town and ask around to find out if anybody has a map or wants some payback on the kobolds.

You go around the village asking questions but in the end you gain little out of it. Nobody has a map of the place and while some have been affected by the kobolds they seem to have little interest in taking up arms with you. The conversations were quite awkward thanks to your own appearance, they all answered your questions more out of fear and then out of willingness.

I'm going see if any ex-miners live in the town and what info they have on the mines.

Your search takes you a while but eventually you are led to a old man that once worked in the mines. You talk with him for a bit but in the end you do not gain a lot of new information. What you did gain is that the mine is mostly a single shaft with only a few side passages, At least you now know that the place isn't a maze.

By now the sun has set completely and the stars are shining brightly in the night sky. You all head back to the inn to discuss your next move.

"The mine is a single shaft with some side passages and hold an unknown amount of kobolds and whatever their leader is, probable kobold." Grey look at the rest of the party "So battle plans."

"I'll take point with the hammerman." he says, shrugging. "We'll probably need to soak some hits, but anyone with good eyes should stay near us and point out any traps. I can identify metal and wooden objects and mechanisms, but I'm not experienced with traps."

Caern sighs before continuing.
"Avoiding direct confrontation is our best bet. If we go in loud and flashy, they'll most likely wear us down with ambushes and hit-and-run tactics. I know most of us probable not very good at sneaking, but we got to be as quiet as possible and try to take their leader down as fast as possible."

"Hey steve." You speak into the air.
>Yes?
"Could you guys also make a hamburger out of this arm when they cut it off? I wanted to eat it just for the sake of tasting it."
>That is horrible and disgusting. It will no doubt set you apart and create fear in your team mates. So of course.

Turn 8

As the four of you talk strategy your table is approached by two strangers. One of them seems to be some half bird, reminding you of a harpy and the second one almost looks like a bear the way he has covered himself in furs.

"Probable, how do you feel about fighting a unknown number of kobolds in a unmapped mine."

"Hey, I couldn't help overhearing, are you guys going on a kobold raid or some such? If so, I would like to offer my services."

Derm pauses, glancing at a waved claw.

"Also I am completely not half bird."

Derm looked at Grey, then back at a previously hidden ring on his claw-finger. He took it off and threw it off into the distance with a mutter of "Fuck you too, Dean."

He coughed awkwardly. "Okay so maybe I am half bird. Also I have no bloody idea because my parents ran away before I was born."

"Yeeeaaah... Alchohol tends to not get along with me." Derm explained. "And by not get along, I mean explode violently."

He scratches the back of his head. "I also tend to not get along with Oil, Natural gas, large clouds of dust, people on occassion, and very recently the entire east wing of the local magic acadamy."

Derm ignored him and turned to the other three. "So do you want me to come along or not?"
