We haven't given him any proof we're no a demon, and an apprentice who summons a demon in an isolated laboratory when his master's away isn't thinking things through...Besides, we're a Trickery Demon. Tricking people is our thing.

Because asking to come out of the pentagram/for the summoner to come into the pentagram is the first thing he'll think the demon would do, while a captured girl would quite believably tell about the crap she's been through first.

Hey now, I didn't say we would follow through.  I'm just thinking he rushes into the pentagram and then we kill him.  My previous plan would have only worked if we weren't bound.

And I know plenty of short guys.  His growth could also be magically stunted.

I agree with continuing the ploy.  We play the part of the abused female as long as possible, making a short but believable story about how we've been through hell (after all, we live there), and try to get him to question his abilities.  Since he has never done this before, it shouldn't be too hard to do.

Basically, we spin the tale of hell and beg him to help us.  The more tears we show the better.  Stay on course.

He's knowingly summoned a Trickery demon. No human being can be sufficiently stupid to do that and not expect some, well, trickery.

It's encouraging him to think with his brain. 

My plan encourages him to think with his body (In other words, not at all).
