So you were biking home from the jazz club up the hill. Its a cold winter night, fullmoon with a starry sky.
You decided to take a shortcut this time, you wanted to get home early so you could call your girlfriend overseas before she would go to bed.
You took a shortcut through the woods. Dashing down an unpaved forest path, you are suddenly struck by a terrible realisation: You are afraid of the dark.
Fearing apprehension you tramp harder, and harder. You sweat and your heart is pumping mad. Suddenly, the front wheel hits a stub, your are thrown forward over the stub, followed by your spinning bike.
You are knocked out. Minutes pass, you wake up with your wrecked bike on top of you. Your phone is dead and you have no light but the faint rains of moonlight passing throug hthe foilage creating small dots on the damp forest soil.

You push your bike off, ouch.. you really hurt! You crawl to the nearest tree, a pine tree and sit up against it.
You check your pockets too, all you find is fluff, your zippo, a pack of cigarettes, and your dead iPhone.
A distant hum coming from the sky softly touches your otherwise ringing ears.

You crawl to the other side of the tree. Trying to relax, you light up a smoke.
Lonely and hurt in the night you sit, puffing out rings. The hum gets louder. Its followed by a whining sound, increasing in amplitude even faster than the humming sound.
Oh what should you do?

Even though your leg and your chest hurts, you get up. Now you are mroe relaxed you are much more up for ivnestigating the source of the noise.
Suddenly the whine passes by, you look up and just beyond the tree foilage you saw a orb shaped object pass by. A bit away from you, behind a few trees it descends.
It hovers around, searching with a spotlight. It has yet to notice you though it feels like its aware of your presense.
