You continue up the ladder and end up coming out of a "maintenance hatch". You are in a dimly-lit hallway that goes left and right.

Always Left, Follow the wall

You decide to follow the left-hand rule. You end up at the end of the corridor, with a door on your right and on your left. You go left and see a bunch of machines, which appear to be humming.

You look around for some identifying writing. "Backup Power Control 1."

You go to the room across. You read: "Power Control Station" - should be good. You even see some devices that look like tower computers, though you don't see any hooked up screens. There are some panels, and some computer parts and monitors are on the ground (they look like they were shaken off tables and such).
You notice that the walls are cracked, the lights are semi-dimmed, and most of the computers' coolers are humming.
Notes:
You may attempt to open up, fix up, change, upgrade, and close things such as machinery, computers, etc. (provided you have a tool capable of the job).
You may also attempt to use a console/prompt/user interface on computerized devices and preform maintenance/hacking operations from the software side as well.
