To Onyx, sorry mate, Your a tad too late.  :( If this game is successful, I'll make the second chapter and you can join that :D. And to GreatWyrmGold, I didn't know that flies didn't have lungs :P. Also, he used to be human, so he kept his human lungs.

Nix stood on the edge of the roof, using his eagle-like vision to survey the horizon. You can clearly make out figures walking around in the camp. They are of all shapes, some large, some small, others with deformities like crab-claws.
Hearing Nix's report, Harry, Simon and Allan decide to use the makeshift bridges connecting the rooftops to traverse the roof-scape and scour around.

Meanwhile, Gob reminisces of the time he was inside the capsule. The Doc would come in everyday to check up on the Beta brood. He would ask how they felt, how they could feel better. Those were the good times. One day, the Doc came in, sad and quiet. He pulled the lever next to Number 1, flushing out the fluid and the capsule burst into flames, destroying Number 1. He was about to do the same for Number 2, when a rock broke the window. He checked outside and saw activists shouting and holding signs, saying: "Stop the Project!" or something of the sort.

He ignored them and continued destroying the Beta Evolved one by one, up until Gob, Number 7, when the activists came rushing in, attacking the Doc and breaking his legs. They freed the Evolved from the capsules but they hadn't gestated enough yet and they shriveled and died the second they touched the floor. They stood in shock at the decaying bodies when the guards came in and captured the activists. They escorted the Doc to the med bay and Gob was the only survivor of brood Beta...

Waking up from his flashback, he noticed Harry coming back with an old, blind man with four arms. Meanwhile, Lowell was still fashioning blades and passing them to the ones who needed them. The rest of the Evolved were eating the fly's remains, feeling stronger.

The old man sat down, obviously tired and hurt judging from the wounds on his back. He won't talk, but maybe you should fix him up first and give him something to eat. He bears the Elipson symbol on his palm.

Greet the new person. Continue secreting material for and creating blades until everyone has a knife substitute.

Try and see the exact numbers of the figures, once I do that, sneak slowly near the camp.

Be wary of the old man... I don't trust him. Watch for any sign of lying.

Sorry I haven't posted a while. I've been busy today :(. Anyways, 3 days from now I have to go back to school so I won't post a lot. If things go too slow, elect a new GM to pick up where I left off.

Everyone gathered and sat next to the old man. You all properly greet each other and learn each others names. After mending his wounds, covering them with the mechanic's corpse's rags and feeding him, you all then greet the stranger.

"I am Bjorn. I am the witch-doctor of the Jotun clan," he said, gesturing to the clan to the south. "We were attacked by the humans, who hate and fear us. Those humans are all those left from the before-time.
We, the Epsilon sub-caste, were the last brood tested and created by the Industry. We were simply injected with the Epsilon strain enmasse without our consent, not like we would have declined anyway. You are the fabled Alpha strain and the nearly-extinct Beta strain! You were two of the more powerful sub-castes, below only to the Omega, 6 pompous, powerful leviathans who were the sole reason the project was started."

"Who are these Omega Evolved?" you ask.

"There are 6 surviving ones, each controlling an area of Galapagos city. This area, called Hir Korven Fjord, is ruled by Korven, a massive centipede with a horrifyingly beautiful face. He rules by sending his Gamma evolved, like that fly you killed, patrolling the area for potential warriors. The Omega have vast legions of spawn that they use to wage war against each other, vying for control like the business men and politics they once were."

"The others, I know only by name, for I have not seen them and do not know their true forms, I know how they look only by myth.
The second, who lives to the North of the roof-plains, is Hir Laer, a bat who uses his brood to capture young children to feed himself.
The third, to the South, is Hir Uwe, a mermaid of titanic proportions who resides in the reservoir, drowning those who seek to gain fish and water in this desert.
Next, is Hir Lephon, is a mantis-bear who resides to the East. He holds the largest army but is the weakest in lone strength.
The fifth is Hir Terke, of the Western roof-plains, is a cyclops with massive strength, preferring to fight his own battles, leaving himself with the smallest brood.
The last is too terrible to think about, but I shall tell you with all my courage. It is Jarhir Qz, who resides on the bottom floors of Ys. Its form is twisted so much that our minds and eyes choose to block it. It screams in the night, its brood crawling into the buildings and breaking upon the roof-plains, attacking at night and raiding all of Galapagos. It has made orphans uncounted and widows innumerable. No matter how much the others wage war and conquest over the control of Galapagos, Qz will always reign supreme."

As you listen to the old man ramble, you spot no lies in his words. Lowell is still creating blades for the group, Harry still hungrily devouring the fly while Allan looks around to spot anything worthwhile. He sees nothing but a few large, sharpened stones, which are surprisingly light.
Nix tries to look and count the shapes but the unnatural darkness and fogginess in Galapagos proves daunting to see through, even with Nix's abilities.

" It is not safe to traverse the plains at night," Bjorn speaks. " Let me take you to my village, we have food, shelter and protection. Do you want me to take you there or leave you here in the open wilds? We might have someone who can fashion that carapace into fine armour."

Do you stay there and continue alone or join Bjorn to Hir Korven Fjord? He seems honest enough and his village may need some help judging from Bjorn's wounds.
